First timer!
Food was delicious. From the Baked Brie to the House Smoked Prime Rib (Fri + Sat special!) and the mouth watering Cajun Penne Pasta. YUM! We will definitely make the drive from the Twin Cities for this again and again. Wrapped the night with a tasty chocolate martini!

Great place to eat. I come for the prime rib on Tuesdays when available. So much charm and character. I met Zoe and Rachel today. I loved both of them. Makes me want to come back. The menu offers so many selections. All the food is tasty. Always my number one choice to eat when around this neck of the woods. Thank you everyone for the perfect place to get over stimulated. Thumbs up.

Service A1. Server was super nice.
Atmosphere was great, nice day. Good tunes the live band was playing.
The steak bites were strange. had like a cinnamon flavor or something. meh. $15. Appetizer.
Wings were alright.
just kinda expensive for food that’s not to perfection.

My wife and I had the French Dip and the Cajun Chicken. Both were amazing! The French fries are serious contenders as a McDonald’s look/taste alike. Great views of the river as well!

Man, if I could rate higher than five stars, it should be 100!! Superfast service, outstanding food and all I can say with the environment is just wow! Best prime rib I’ve had in years! From the kids that our table to the adults, everything came out perfect! I wish it was not three hours from my house!

We ended up stopping here for lunch by happenstance while on a motorcycle ride. The highlight of our meal was definitely the baked brie. We could not believe how good this appetizer was! I want to visit this restaurant again just for this. This restaurant seems small from the front, but opens up to beautiful open patio seating looking over the river in the back. We didn’t have a reservation so we sat in the bar. Next time we will plan ahead! The service was impeccable. If you are in the area, you can’t go wrong choosing to eat here!

Great deck for enjoying the river view. We didn’t eat but the food looked great. We will definitely go back.

I gave the overall of 4 only because we entered from the boat side on the lake, and it is entirely stairs to go up 3 or 4 levels. And I myself cannot walk very far. Or climb stairs, because I am handicapped. From this side, there is no handicap access. There might be from the other side. Ugly restaurant, I am not sure. But a 5 star for everything else. Their food is very tasty. Their service was excellent, very kind. Very prompt and the atmosphere. How can you go wrong sitting outside by the lake with a live band?! When you are outside by the week, the menu is limited. If you go inside and upstairs, they have a larger upscale menu. The food we did have was very good. The burger was literally the best burger I have ever had in my life!!! Their cheese curds were so soft and smooth. And melt in your mouth good! The rest of my family very much. Enjoyed their wings said they had a lot of flavor. They had these crazy tater tots that were round and flat extra crispy, very tasty. But I think the very best thing they had was their very unique ranch. I am very picky about my ranch. And this was excellent! I couldn’t get enough. I had it on everything!

For outdoor dining, Muddy Waters is hard to beat with its two levels of decks overlooking the river. There is limited boat parking below the restaurant, which makes a trip by boat quite easy. You can watch the lift bridge go up and down and the train was fun for the children. The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered a Muddy Waters Salad not expecting much for the food. The salad was pretty fresh and the dressing seemed to be made in house which was great. They use disposable cups and disposable napkins, which is pretty disappointing for a sit down restaurant and made it feel a bit lower end because of that.

Party of 6. Was told probably 45 minutes or more. Probably closer to an hour and fifteen minutes…and that was just fine. Had a drink on the lower level outside deck. Enjoyed the view. Had the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. Very good. I had the 10 oz sirloin with grilled shrimp. Ordered the steak medium rare. Came out more medium. Was still pretty darn good. Another person also had the sirloin and it looked medium rare. The shrimp were a little overcooked..but good flavor. The coleslaw side was very flavorful. The hash browns looked very good. Someone had a shrimp salad that was very good. Service was wonderful. Overall, a very good dining experience!
