So we ate at Mudbugs last night and the food was delicious as usual. My complaint is that we had a large party 10 but 3 separate checks. When we all paid our bills they hand you the iPad and you sign electronically. Well on the screen you’re signing it only shows the total price with tax and everything included. Not to mention that the gratuity was already in there and they ask for more gratuity on the screen. We all paid big extra gratuity’s and there was no mention that it was already in the bill. The only reason we know is we had to ask for a receipt and it took forever to get it like it was some big deal. I’m sorry but we eat out a lot at lots of nice restaurants and yes some charge the gratuity in the bill but it’s always up front and you know about it. This was obviously hidden on purpose and they don’t bring you an itemized receipt on purpose just to trick you into paying a double gratuity. We’ve always like going there and we’re generous tippers but probably will go somewhere else next time as I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of.

Drove all the way in from California to visit and was recommended to check out Mudbugs, and can easily say I was very satisfied! Shrimp and crayfish were soooo good! Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in the area!

Great food, service and space. We especially love sitting outside under the oak but inside is great as well. Server is attentive and atmosphere great. Better spot than Crawfish Shack down the street!

We rented the venue during off season for a couples baby bash. Sandra and her son were so accommodating and easy to work with. The venue was perfect for our party of 75. The huge kitchen gave us plenty of room to prepare everything. Highly recommend this venue.

My first time in Crosby and my first time eating crayfish. Definitely an experience, if it’s your first time, I recommend the 2.5 pounds of shrimp and 2.5 of crayfish with crab legs. You must add more corn and more potatoes 1 of each won’t cut it, dry rub spicy sauce and byob

I love the crawfish here its always really yummy. Voodoo garlic is my favorite flavor if you like spice. Even at end of season with smaller crawfish it is packed with SO much flavor. I highly recommend coming here.

What a cool place to eat Crawfish/Crawdads aka MudBugs. Absolutely a fun place to eat. Definitely BYOB (bring your own beer) This place is a seasonal temporary hours, so make sure you call in advance to find out if they are open. Everything we had taste absolutely good. Be prepared to wait in line, since is a popular place and sometimes it could be up to an hour wait if you have a big group.

Friendly service from the hostess to the manager. Our server was awesome. From the sausage on a bun, the snow crab, the crawfish, potatoes, corn and mushroom all spiced to order and great tasting. Everyone in our group had huge smiles the entire meal. If you haven’t been to Mudbugs then you’ve been missing out. It is a must in the Houston area. Get there before crawfish seasons dies down.
