I’ve driven past Mud Creek for YEARS on my way to work without ever stopping in…but that changed yesterday ( Saturday, February 26th, 2022 ). I was also under the mistaken impression that this place was “only” a coffee shop…boy, was I ever wrong. This establishment struck me as VERY customer-friendly, which is something that seems to have fallen by the wayside in many places in the last few years.
My wife and I were joined by two of her sisters and a great niece and ALL of us were impressed with the food and drinks that we had. Personally I had a salted caramel mocha frappe and a spiced chicken almond wrap along with a cup of tomato bisque soup. God, all of this was simply HEAVENLY !! We spoke with the owner for about 10 minutes after we finished eating and he was very engaging, talkative and friendly. In the end I walked away absolutely convinced that I’d be coming back…and eagerly anticipating when that would be.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Several days ago ( a Sunday morning, I believe ) I decided to drive out to Stockbridge to get Mud Creek again as my wife and I had purchased two $ 25 gift cards in a fundraiser. I went in, poured over the menu and ordered a drink and a wrap as shown in the newest pictures. Wow…I almost sucked down my entire drink ( the Sea Salt Caramel Mocha Freeze ) before my Spiced Pecan Chicken Wrap arrived. Both were remarkably good and it was a reminder to me that I’m going to have to drive back out here again soon to enjoy some more of their amazing food and drinks !

I am from chicago area I stopped in with my kids. The place feels cozy the girls serving are nice. It did remind me if a Starbucks the prices are similar. I thought it would be more rustic and small town feel . My family enjoyed the croissants and their drinks I enjoyed my coffee. I appreciated they got my order correct. I recommend you stop by. I will definitely stop in again.

An unexpected gem in a tiny town. Surprising (and impressive) variety of drink options; you will find something to suite your taste. Collectivo beans were a pleasant surprise. The interior aesthetic isn’t my preference, but cozy nonetheless. The employees were engaging and friendly. If I’m passing through, I’ll be stopping again.

A friend and I stopped by to use her coffee passport and ended up staying for lunch. I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu panini and she had the Gourmet Grilled Cheese panini. Both were absolutely amazing! Ordered our coffees to go and ended up having a really nice chat with the owner. We live about 45 minutes away but we’ll definitely be returning soon as this place is quite the little gem!
