Excellent food and good service. Large portions, including iced tea in quart jars. The fajitas were tasty and well-prepared. The mole chicken enchiladas compete with the best I’ve eaten, although these were a bit spicier. Bottles of red and green chili sauces on the table are a nice touch, as are the beans dressing up the usual intro chip basket. We’ll be sure to stop here again.

Best. Chicken. Tacos. Ever.
I took one bite and immediately reconsidered every past taco I’ve ever eaten. Were they even tacos? Or just warm sadness wrapped in a tortilla? The chicken was so juicy it could’ve starred in a skincare commercial. 10/10.

My wife and I were driving through and found this hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I have to say it was incredible. The chips and salsa were different with black beans on top. We ordered a single Taco and the Molcajete with red sauce (FYI this is for 2 or more people). It was incredible. I would make this stop again when driving through.

Driving thru from Rehoboth Beach back to Philly (vacation from Houston). Had been craving Mexican food and stumbled across this spot. The young lady allowed me to order a mix of tacos and build them my way. Carne asada; carnitas; and pollo tacos loaded with their fixings. Friend had the Tostadas with carne asada. Even ordered a side of beans and rice. Everything was delightful. Not like Texas , but very close. I’d stop here again.

Enjoyed my family’s visit to Mucho Loco- very friendly service and generous portions. Highlights were the mini enchiladas (great value!), chicken flautas, and Aztec soup. The soup was particularly excellent for helping me get over a cold (chicken, avocado, tortilla strips, cilantro, rice and onions on the side, all in a flavorful, spicy broth- haven’t had anything like it before and loved it).

It was my first time trying this place and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast. Portions are big and the food was delicious. I highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try.

7/11/25 My husband and I went to try Mucho Loco tonight for dinner and it was disappointing. I really had high hopes, but once the stale tortilla chips with plain beans on top came out, my hopes started to fade. My husband ordered steak tacos which he said were okay, however, I ordered a chicken quesadilla which had nothing but chopped up chicken, cheese and lettuce inside. Lettuce? You don’t put lettuce inside a quesadilla, it just gets soggy. I expected peppers and onions. There was a little sealed container of sour cream and jarred salsa in a small cup on the side. I’m really disappointed that, given this is the garden state, we didn’t see fresh pico de gallo, cilantro or fresh made salsa which would have definitely elevated the dishes. It’s really a shame because I see a lot of good reviews, but they are old reviews now from when the restaurant opened. Sadly, we won’t be going back.

Carnitas tacos done right! Juicy, flavorful pork, fresh cilantro & onion, toasted tortillas, and a kick of salsa + lime. Some of the best I’ve had in a while
