Our mission is to open a few restaurants that take care of our guests in every way–treating them like guests in our home, making sure that they feel embraced by the joy with which we extend our hospitality, and making sure that they become entranced by our restaurant. We understand the value of ‘regulars’ returning weekly and in many cases more frequently. We hope that all of our guests will feel that they belong to a private club, to which we welcome them again and again. M’tucci’s Moderno located in Rio Rancho is a sister of our first restaurant, M’tucci’s Italian, which is located at Coors and Montano on Albuquerque’s West Side.

The stars are for the service which was great! But I ordered a Sausage Ravioli to go because I was picking up the elderly woman I care for from the hospital across the street and I heard their spicy marinara was very good. Now that I’m home and ready to eat it, I saw no marinara and it’s says mushroom and goat cheese ravioli right on the tag. I should’ve checked the bag before I left, but I was in a hurry and now I’m bummed. It’s probably great tasting but it is not what I was looking forward to when I got home and I’m a live in caregiver with no time to go back today.

Tonight was our first time coming to M’tucci’s and we absolutely LOVED it!! The food is absolutely amazing! From our appetizer to our dessert, everything was beautifully plated, full in flavor and portions were generous. Our server Anthony C. went above and beyond from start to finish and we LOVED him!! He spent time talking with us, interacting with our kids, and was so attentive even when he was busy. We truly felt that he cared and had to let the manager Steven know. Both gentlemen were so kind on so many levels, we are so thankful. They made our special night so much better, thank you Anthony and Steven, we appreciate you both for your wonderful hospitality and the fact that you care so much. We appreciate you both as well as the cooks wonderful skill! We have found our new favorite place to eat and will definitely return!!

Had the Raviolini with spicy marinara and sausage. Delish!! Special Valentine’s Day dessert was light and very good. Great cocktails and espresso as well very enjoyable! We prefer the atmosphere of Bar Roma on Central but this was a nice change. And food excellent!

My wife and I chose M’tucci’s Moderno to celebrate our 43rd anniversary. We were NOT disappointed! Our server was Chris E. Boi (ask for him, he’s GREAT!) After Chris brought our beverages, he took our order for spinach salad and mussels for appetizers. Appetizers arrived quickly and they were superb. Our dinner order of the Grilled Salmon and artichoke pesto raviolis arrived just as we finished. Another perfectly prepared dishes. Chris had asked us if we were celebrating anything and informed us that our dessert would be FREE!!! We ordered the tiramisu to go as we were stuffed. The food and service were outstanding. I can’t wait to go back.

I had a reservation for Valentine’s Day and the wait for food was a bit long (as expected), but my waiter totally made it up for it.
