This is such a great place. We sat in the outdoor porch during the rain. It was so relaxing, the service was very fast and the food was delicious. The slow cooked pork was the best I’ve ever had. I also recommend the okra and tomatoes.

This was my first visit since it was sold and under new management. The food was good, service excellent. Loved the remodel, especially the new addition in the back. They were playing The Forrester Sisters music, which I absolutely loved. Not many people know this is where these great sisters came from!

I drove straight through from Biloxi, MS to find this slice of heaven in the mountains. Everyone working here as well as the owner were some of the nicest, kind-hearted people I’ve met. The service was unbeatable along with the authentic country cooking. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants great food, and I can guarantee they’ll leave with a full stomach and a big smile.

Great people, great food, great experience. The new name of the restaurant is “Mtn. Top Cafe”. The interior is remodeled with hundreds of special details: pictures of old America, objects, wooden walls with antique style touch ups, etc. The place is cozy, attractive, comfortable, amazing! The food is good, well prepared from fresh ingredients. The staff was very nice, happy and kind. If you’re driving down highway 136 it’s a must stop place.

A wonderful little meat and 3 located just outside of Trenton. Very high quality comfort food which was perfect after a day of strenuous hiking. The staff, while young, was very polite and attentive. A great little place that was also a great value.
