I have been here twice now and wow! The service from start to finish is excellent. Very attentive and friendly.
The food is INCREDIBLE. I’ve tried the prime rib, the surf and turf, the rib eye, the bison meatloaf… the sides – carrots, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes and more and the apps – baked brie, crab cakes, etc. Everything is so good.
The restoration of the building and use of antique items, as well as the art really tired everything together.
I’ll be back every time I have a little money to spend!

We had an amazing date night at MTN Prime. Chad was an excellent server. We tried the Prime Old Fashioned and it was delicious. We had the short rib and bison meatloaf. The meatloaf was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Delicious sides too. Chad recommended an appetizer and wine to pair with our meal. Highly recommend!

This steakhouse truly lives up to its name! The steak was perfectly seasoned, and the smoked drumlets were packed with flavor. Our service was just as impressive—our server was only on his third day, yet his hospitality was spot-on. He made the experience even better!

First time eating here and had a wonderful experience!! Food was to die for! The best Waffles I have ever tasted, so airy and light! You have to get there 100% real maple syrup so dark and rich in flavor.
The elk stew had strong salary flavor it was amazing felt like home cooking!

This was an incredible meal. I had bison meatloaf – the best! They make it with a bourbon based barbecue sauce and wrap it with bacon. It melts in your mouth. The salad was fresh accompanied by a lemon vinaigrette and the tortilla soup was filled with flavor. The carrot cake was sublime. Outstanding wait staff, too. It is one of the best restaurants we have experienced in Colorado. We are coming back soon.

I have been to MTN Prime one other time many years ago and had the most delicious dummies of my life. Since then, I’ve been trying to find this place again since I had such a good first experience.
The service and atmosphere here is top notch and I should’ve said something to the waiter, but I didn’t.
I got the vegan stir fry. Sounded delicious. Smelled interesting. Tasted… disappointing. The noodles were very tough to chew and the tofu kind of reminded me of campfire hot dogs? Not sure how else to explain it but I was only able to eat maybe half of this before having to stop and get a snack somewhere else.
Wish I had loved this half as much as those drummies.

We had an outstanding dining experience at MTN Prime! The service was quick and our waitress, Keely, was so friendly and attentive. I went for the Elk Stew, and it was absolutely savory and delicious—just the right thickness that I love in a stew. My husband chose the ribeye with Brussels sprouts, and it was cooked perfectly to order. The steak was just amazing, and the Brussels sprouts had fantastic flavor. We also had the Maryland Crab Cakes, and they were by far the best we’ve had in town!
The atmosphere at MTN Prime was clean, cozy, and so welcoming—it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. We’ll definitely be recommending it to others, and we can’t wait to come back next time we’re in the area. Truly a fantastic experience!

Keely was our server and was great! First time so we wanted to try a bit of everything. Got the artichoke dip which was fantastic and a big portion. It’s very creamy and I think for 2 people it was almost too much.
My favorite thing was the wedge salad, it was literally the best salad I have ever had in my life. Was unsure about the pears and nuts but it was amazing.
Also got the crab cake Blt, was also very good and a pretty thick crab cake. The bacon gave off a nice Smokey flavor and the bun was super soft. Got French fries with ranch as a side and the home made ranch was delicious as well as the house cut fries.
I deff will be back to try some bison, thanks Keely!

Beautiful historic building, filled with historic pictures. Inviting yet. Also very eclectic and beautiful. The food is made from scratch upon order. Diverse changing menu. One of the few restaurants in the area open till 8:00. Chad is an awesome server, he’ll take care of you.
