Very cool hidden spot in seattle. The Chicken for the tenders and burgers is organic. Very tender from the inside but with a nice crispy crunch on the outside. Really delicious with their fries as well as with their no sugar soda drinks. A very surprisingly chill atmosphere with groovy music to go on top of that. Would highly recommend this place!

DoorDash has been down for over a month. Instead of fixing it or removing their stores from UberEats or DoorDash, there’s a sign on the counter that greets you when you walk in that says they don’t have your order, and you need to get a refund from the app and place an order in person. Defeats the purpose of takeout and ordering ahead. Spicy chicken sandwich is great, but c’mon, it’s 2026, don’t make it harder for people to give you money!

Super tasty burger. Got the spicy chicken burger with dark meat. Very juicy chicken but the but is just cheap white bun nothing special. 15$ just for the burger though so definitely more on the expensive end of things

I recently dined at Mt. Joy in Seattle, and it was a fantastic experience! Their chicken burger is an absolute standout! Juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. The chicken is clearly high-quality, and it makes all the difference. The fries were equally impressive, perfectly crispy and a great sidekick to the meal. What sets Mt. Joy apart is their commitment to fresh ingredients, which shines through in every bite. I have no doubt this place will keep gaining popularity as more people discover it. Do yourself a favor and try their food, you won’t be disappointed!

Out of fries. (How does that happen at a fried chicken restaurant?) They advertise but do NOT actually sell beer, cider, and wine. Service when I walked in – the woman just stared at me for a while and then pointed to the kiosk when I asked if I could place an order.
Faint music playing only from the kitchen despite there being a sounds system in the dining room, which meant I had to listen to the entire conversation the only other three people inside were having.
The room was very warm – felt like no AC.

The food was okay, overall would not recommend since I came here to order three items, and they were out of 2 of the 3. Next!

Went the other day, chicken sandwiches were great – and the milkshake was awesome. The part that really stood out to me was the person at the counter – Noah, who was absolutely a gem. Hands down the best customer experience I’ve had at a restaurant in Seattle.

Really delicious chicken. And high quality bun too. Ingredients felt fresh. Only gripe was that the chicken tenders don’t come with sauce included. With so many options for chicken sandwiches in Cap Hill, Mt. joy definitely stays out as a higher and tasty quality option.

Very cute space, bright colors and info on their sustainable practices. The spicy chicken sando was delicious. Just the right spice level. Fries are really good too, got the pickle sauce. Strawberry basil shake was like drinking summer! Will be back!

Nut allergy friendly: No issues with the order I had.

It was pretty empty when we arrived at 7:45PM on a Saturday evening. Took 13 minutes to get my order of a Spicy Chicken Sandwich.

The chicken sandwich was average. I got white meat and the sandwich felt a bit small for the price. I don’t like that the spiciness came from the sauce rather than spicy breading.

I’d come back for a fast meal but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

I was very skeptical about whether or not the food from this place would be good, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The inside of the restaurant was clean, the staff was very friendly, Tyler helped me and took great care of me, and the food was really good!

I got the fried chicken sandwich, which was so perfectly juicy and tender. I was not expecting for the crust of the chicken to be cornmeal based, which I’m used to having on fish instead of chicken, but it was still really good.

The french fries and dipping sauces were also really fresh and tasty!

This just goes to show that you cannot judge a book by its cover, because normally this is not this sort of place I would eat at

My only complaint would be the price, $14 for a chicken sandwich without any fries, but they made up for it in the quality
