I was passing through Franklin and looking for a mom-and-pop restaurant. I found Ms. Lois online and it had really good reviews. Upon pulling in I noticed several people sitting outside. It’s a beautiful day so no problem. I sat there a few minutes before they came out and got my name and was seated a few minutes afterwards it’s a smaller restaurant. However it’s worth the wait. I ordered the special of the day roast beef with three sides 11.99. I can honestly say it was the most delicious roast beef I have ever had in my life. And at my age I’ve had a lot of roast beef. The service was great the atmosphere very comfortable and the food outstanding. Do yourself a favor if you’re in the area and stop by here for a meal. This will be one of my regular stops anytime I’m passing by. Very reasonably priced and large portions

I hope they check the temperature of the hamburger meat before serving it 1/2 cooked. It wasn’t barely pink or a little pink in the middle. It was raw all the way through. Also, walked in to get order and staff looked at me like I had 5 heads and when I asked for my order I was told to pull up beside the building. They could have said that over the phone. But why not just give me the order then and I would know next time? Oh, bc there won’t be a next time!

Kinda found this place by accident this morning while traveling from Cherokee back to Georgia. So glad we did. There had a been a power outage and they were just opening when we pulled up. The ladies were working super hard to get everyone seated and orders taken. Our food was really good and we had great service. Will definitely stop by again when we are in the area.

WOW!!!!!

This restaurant is better than most home cooking. I have never had better biscuits and gravy at a restaurant in my life. These reminded me of my childhood. The corn beef hash was perfect as were my eggs. The service was done with a smile that made me truly feel valued. I dont come to Franklin as much as I would like, but I will stop here every time from now on.

I can not recommend this place enough!!!!

Great food and service. I had blackened catfish with candied yams, rice and gravy and creamed corn. My daughter had fried chicken salad. All were superb.

I was a little surprised when we walked in. I thought the sign saying to wait outside was a pandemic relic, but they really mean it. The inside is cozy without much room to wait for a table. If it’s chilly or wet, come prepared.

All in all, a good local place. We’ll be back.

Standing outside is the only downfall while waiting to eat at this local and very good family restaurant. Fresh food and nice friendly staff make it feel like you are eating at home.

I had the double cheese burger. It was amazing. I loved it. My favorite burger is a messy one. The pickles topped it off. I don’t even like pickles. My man had the meatloaf. He’s pretty picky. He enjoyed it. Said they offer too many veggies. My 1 1/2 daughter had the grilled cheese and made so many friends. We enjoyed this place. Just small.

We stopped here on our drive from Idaho, and it ended up being my favorite restaurant from the entire trip. The food was amazing, just what we needed. Pancakes were big and fluffy, my omelette was perfectly seasoned, and there was a constant flow of coffee. Our waitress, Chrystal, made our day. She was sweet and attentive, and was happy to bring us extra items as needed.
