This place has everything, a U shaped bar, pool tables, MTV’s Dan Cortese, a stage, darts, one of those sand shuffle board things, and outdoor seating. A must see bar.

A good, hometown bar in Ironton, OH. It has an excellent outdoor patio area. A variety of live music performs at The Auger Inn on special occasions. I love the messy, yummy burger. Buckets of beer are available at a reasonable price. It has a welcome sense of community. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

They are charging 7$ for a shot of fireball. The same price as Crown Royal. Go some place that knows how to price liquor appropriately. Will not be back.

So I know . . . . Why TRY to go out on a Tuesday night?? Well my mother took all 3 of my children for the night. I didn’t know what to do with myself. The Auger was the only local place still open at 12:45 and let me tell you. . . The Bartender was AWESOME, cool, funny, professional. The place was SO CLEAN, my 3 drinks were Amazing. I will most definitely be paying this Bar another Visit

We stopped by for Monday night musical bingo. The food was delicious and drinks were just right. The musical bingo was so much fun that it ended up turning in to a sing along. I haven’t laughed this much in a long time!

One of the few places open late…..ok so ohio law states that establishments (bars) can stay open up until 230am….. I’m from Columbus so I’m used to that… the big shock down here was that 95% of places, even bars, close at 10-11pm. Even some gas stations around here won’t even sell beer on Sundays at all.. even though it’s allowed by law…. now I know there are different licenses but still…. this place was actually open as late as they could be by ohio law which was a shocker….. if you’re a drinker down in Southern Ohio, have fun trying to find places to sell late or even on Sundays at all. Overall, a good local dive bar to meet up with people.
