I’ve been sick for the past few days and I haven’t eaten much, but when I got hungry all I wanted was (M’s Gardens) their wonton soup, salt and pepper wings, and their garlic green beans. These are my go to staple items on their menu and they’re delicious! The staff is always friendly and their prices are reasonable. This is our families favorite local Chinese restaurant. The food is always hot and fresh.

Very good food, the house special won ton soup cured my cold, any time i feel weezy i get some delivered but they put so much more meat when you come visit. All the other food is equally good 10/10 would come here again just for the soup . The pot stickers are amazing and the deep fried ones are a texture made in heaven.

Update : i have come now for lunch almost once a week the food never disapoints, i will continue to come here until the end of my days.

Orange chicken was not orange chicken. It had red sauce and the chicken tasted old and hard. This was a one and done place for us.

This cozy restaurant has left the best mouth watering house soup. Delicious dishes. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Elk Grove.

Just moved to the area, hungry so We got our 4 dishes to go. Plus the fried Rangoon. I am chinese and grew up on Cantonese food, my first to order anywhere is chow fun. I have had it more time than I can count and all different styles. Here’s my review.

1. Chow fun- Chau sui black bean 1/5- meat taste old and alittle concerning, and definitely over cooked, noodle very soggy and mushy NOT my fav by far
2. Egg Fried rice – ehh… tasteless 1/5
3. Broccoli and snow peas with mushrooms – not too tasty either and regular mushrooms ‍♀️ ‍♀️ ‍♀️ cooked to my liking- 2/5
4. Lemon chicken- over fried, and battered, tasted old like old oil used. 2/5

Safe to say, I will not return, plus nothing non- American on the menu. double No for me!.

I eat here often because the food is always good and hot. It’s a small place but have never run into a problem getting a table. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We’ve ordered food from here a number of times. Depending on what you get, you may have amazing dish or an ok dish. Usually any of their fried meats tossed in sauces (like general tso or orange or sesame chickens) are really good. Other items ok. But surprisingly got the house special wonton soup from here and it was perfectly delish.

I’ve called in orders and the lady doesn’t seem very nice or is just neutral in customer service hence the 3 stars. But the rest of the staff seem great.

I highly recommend trying this place out and order based on what you feel like eating though their specialties are really their strengths.

I needed a quick Chinese food fix. The first warning was it was empty and the cashier was laying down ! I ordered to go walked over the the cookie shop and came back in 5 minutes sat down and boom it was done ? That was another warning. I bought wantons , house rice and honey walnut shrimp.
1-wantons were ugly and had no crunch
2-honey walnut shrimp was below average
3-house rice was below standard
4-smaller portions are being sold
My guess is the have a new cook
You’ve been warned !
