Ms. B’s Sub shop is an absolute amazing place to eat! It’s a family friendly environment. The staff displays excellent customer service. I had the potato soup with a sandwich and both were truly good.

Great Sandwich, Sub, Submarine, Hero or whatever you want to call it…. one of best in Memphis. You also get a drink and chips. Be careful with the house maid drinks…I had to add water …. my sugar slapped me after a sip. I’ll be back the service was awesome.

Finally got the chance to try Ms. B’s Sub Shop after hearing so many great things about it. It most definitely met my expectations. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the shop was clean and cozy, the food was delicious! I had a special request for an “un-which” that was just meat and cheese warmed with sub sauce and special seasoning.
I can’t wait to go back!

Seriously one of the best subs I have ever eaten! A six inch is pretty filling but you will want more for later so go ahead and get the 12 inch.
They also make the most amazing sandwich platters! Great for lunches at work or with family.

Firstly, I have yet to see or take a picture of the food from Ms. B’s that does the quality of the food justice. I am absolutely shocked, this was the best sandwich I’ve had in Memphis. Sure, there are novelties, there are specialties for when you’re in a very specific mood but overall, this is the best. Everything was incredibly fresh and the portion size was very generous, meat was falling out of the sandwich. This was a pre-covid sandwich if I’m able to be full from a good quality sandwich for ten dollars.
I chose the turkey footlong. There were multiple toppings, I believe two different kinds of olives and jalapeños along with others. If you are dissuaded by any of those, please don’t be. Everything was in perfect proportion to complement one another and not be overpowering. Ms. B’s is now my go-to sandwich shop. To be honest, I didn’t visit inside the store but I saw the pictures and just have to assume the atmosphere is every bit as great as everything else about this place. Ms. B, we can tell everything is made with love. I struggle to leave this review because I don’t want it to become any more popular, but they deserve it.

never in all of my life have i ever felt inclined to make a google review. today, that changed. ms. b’s was mentioned to me while discussing subs and i’d never had it. i looked it up, saw it was black owned AND was nearly 5 stars out of 200+ ratings and knew i had to check it out. me and my fiancé both got turkey subs and a slice of cake. i got home and we both took our first bite, turned, locked eyes and we knew we were on the same page. 100/10. portions are generous, produce is fresh, crisp and flavorful and the comfort and hospitality in store is unmatched. today we became life long customers off the first visit and we both agreed we’re never getting subs from anywhere else again. thanks ms. b and family!

I didn’t know this place even existed!! I just happened to see a post about Submarine Shop (which is now on Summer Ave) and someone referenced that is Ms. B’s is carrying on the traditional way of how a sandwich is supposed to be fixed. I have to admit, this has to be the best Grinder Sub I’ve had in years and at a price that is remarkable. Oh yeah, the service is awesome

This is one of the the greatest treasures in all of Memphis. Somewhat of a hole in the wall, the sandwiches are local made and world class. My mouth literally waters when I think of them.
The chicken salad is unique and awesome. The potato soup is ALWAYS fire.
And the ladies that run this place are just some of the sweetest, most wonderful people around.

Ms. B’s Sub Shop in Memphis will never disappoint a sandwich lover. When I’m down from New York, this is my spot for sandwiches. Anyone can make a sub, but she makes them great. I would highly recommend the three meat, turkey, pastrami & ham with pepper-jack and the special sauce. Load it up with fresh sliced tomatoes, banana peppers and mayo. Owe two giant pickle wedges.
