Stopped in this morning for brunch. Very friendly staff and the food was fantastic. Super quick too! Loved the fruit cup. Just wish it was a bit bigger inside, tables felt a little too close together when people had to walk through.

We both have been going bonkers lately. Too much running around needed. We past by this place too often. Closed on Monday. This now wasn’t the Monday. It was 45 minutes before closing.
They were sold out of biscuit.. but we really needed something to hold us till dinner. This establishment was the needed holder. We found the pork Tenderlion sandwich. We asked them to cut it in half. Yes, they did. My wife has digestive issues. Limited food intake.
The prime thing here is. The bread was beyond great. The meat was good to but that toast was the star.

This cafe was delicious. We devoured our food and had lovely drinks as well. Pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The atmosphere is cozy. Hope during the summer they have outside seating. Highly recommend this quaint cafe that offers an upscale menu and delivers with that flavor.

I travel quite a bit and don’t write too many reviews. I will have to say this is one of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere. The quality of the food was outstanding. It was cooked perfectly. Seasoned exactly like I would want it. The quantities were perfect. Pure maple syrup for the French toast and great butter. All ingredients were quality to the core. In addition, I was able to sample some of their brisket. Being from Texas I was doubtful Wisconsin brisket would be that good. Much to my surprise it was outstanding as well. Give Mrs Rivers Cafe a try if you’re ever in town.
P.S. I don’t fly out until Saturday so I’ll be able to dine here three more days for lunch before heading home.

Lovely Cafe, staff, and food! Came down from Milwaukee to visit the garden center at Milaeger’s and popped into School Days Antique Mall for a bit of shopping. While browsing the antique mall, we started to get a bit hungry and asked a few employees for suggestions and the only suggestion everyone kept giving us was Mrs. Rivers Bakery & Smokehouse (Mrs. Rivers Pies & Catering) and I know why! First, it’s just adorable, the food was fresh and made with high-quality ingredients, staff was pleasant and attentive without hovering, and it was reasonably priced! For nearly the same cost as fast food, just a few dollars more, I had one of the best lunches in a long time! Thank you for making my trip to Sturtevant delightful!

This was my first time here and I was not disappointed! Great menu options, I opted for the Denver omelet – everything was delicious! You get plenty of food and everyone in my group wants to go back. The restaurant is decorated and designed very homey/welcoming and staff was friendly and attentive. Nice addition to the small town vibe.

I used to buy pie and cheesecake from Mrs. Rivers when she was a vendor at the farmers market, so I was really excited to try her restaurant. Obviously, there are many great reviews for the business as well.
The restaurant is cute and cozy, with a service counter for customers to place their orders. Once your food is made, the people at the counter bring your food to your table. After that, you’re on your own. They do not check in to see how the food is or if anything is needed. While one of the girls was very friendly, the other appeared to be annoyed.
I ordered the Brisket Eggs Benedict and French Silk Pie. The pie was great, as always! The Benedict was not so great, unfortunately. The hash browns were hot but the Benedict itself was lukewarm, at best. The brisket was a bit dry as well.
I’m hoping this was just an off day, given that there are so many great reviews. The menu has a large variety to pick from, and the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere.

Giving this super cute local place a try! Oh my goodness if you are thinking of going, go. As a first time and wanting to try a bit of a bunch we have good foor days! The portions are HUGE!
I got two 3 meat plates each come with 2 sides. Brisket, pulled pork, hot beef, smoked turkey and meatballs were the meats. The sides were baked beans, Coke slaw, cornbread casserole and mac and cheese.
Then I ordered the brisket chili and the curried lentil soup. They were both keepers! So so good.
Oh my goodness! The best of the sudes were the cornbread casserole and the baked beans. All of the meats were amazing!!!! They all come as a sandwich on the menu. That hot beef was so juicy and tender! The brisket was the best I have ever had.
Next time I’ll eat in, it’s small seating for 30 at tables and 3 at a window counter. It’s clean! Like really clean. Cute, comfortable and the owners are working. Well done!
If you are a desert person they have like 8 pies a cheesecake and a case full of lovely things to choose from.

I don’t know where to begin with all the great things I could say. Starting with the staff they are just amazing so welcoming and always great you with a smile. The place is set up so nice and cozy, always clean and well maintained. Now the food…everything is so fresh and just ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Not to mention the portion sizes PERFECT!! Me personally I always get 2 meals out of them!! I don’t ever leave without a to go container and I will add it taste JUST AS GOOD the second time. Overall our favorite! I promise you will not be disappointed! Also we had our wedding catered by Mrs.Rivers and all our guests went crazy over it. I promise you will not be disappointed!
