I like the atmosphere. It has neat electronic picture portraits that cycle through a collection of portraits on big flat screens.

Thankfully, there is only one TV, and that’s over the bar, far enough away from the tables that my kid’s eyes weren’t glued to it, which I like.

Ordering the food is cool with the tablet, so you can look through it, it’s very helpful that there is a picture of everything – although some of the items I got didn’t seem to look exactly like the picture, but that’s okay. There is also a favorites button so you can go back to the items you find interesting and so narrow it down from there. So many things look good that, yes indeed, you’ll need to narrow down your list of like 20 favorites, but that favorite menu really helps.

Oh yeah – the mango lassi is really delicious. I had two.

However, the food as whole didn’t seem as good to me as expected. And the desserts were too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth).

Overall not a bad experience, I won’t write it off.

Wanted to try a new Indian restaurant and based on some friend’s recommendation ended up on a snowy Sunday at Mrs Kumar’s

The restaurant space is very elegant with service to match. The staff is very friendly and accommodating

We ordered tomato soup, vegetable man chow soup, assorted tandoori paneer , mid pakora and they were all fantastic.

For main we got Baingan Bharta, Punjab Kadi and egg masala curry with rumali roti

We gobbled it all down with Dos Equis Beers

I will be back to try their non vegetarian dishes

What a restaurant!! We figured we would start with the basics being our first time and this being a new place. I got a chicken soup which was unbelievable!! My son got Garlic Cheese Naan which was hot, fresh and delicious!! For entree, Chicken Tika Masala and Butter Chicken. We were both extremely happy with our over the top delicious food.

Service was perfect and spot on. Friendly, professional, and efficient.

We can’t wait to be back!!!!

Went to Mrs. Kumar for the 1st time.today with friends. Appetizers and soups were good. Main course wasn’t as great. We found the ambience as good and our server Ritik was very cheerful and jolly. Few things that the restaurant management should pay attention towards are-1. They should try to serve food items falling in the same category at the same time instead of bringing 1 item at a time for a group, so the group can eat at the same time instead of some people finishing up eating while others are still waiting for their order to arrive+ serving speed should be paid attention to, specially when the restaurant is not too full as at times it took way too long for the orders to arrive.
Overall experience was decent.

We visited the new Mrs. Kumar and met the owners along with family. The restaurant is awesome with modern furnishings, a bar, a space for large parties and most of all employees like Dheeraj who took care of a large order we had and followed up with changes and delivered on time. Made up for a previous take out order (with another employee) . We have mostly eaten in at the restaurant and the food is simply outstanding. Both non-veg and veg. Service is great. Located in a shopping center with ample parking. We lucked out having such a super restaurant like this close to our house.

The restaurant has moved to a new location a few units down the same lane, and the new space is much bigger with dedicated seating, a bar, and private dining areas.

The staff, especially Ritik and Dheeraj, are always friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of vegetarian and kid-friendly menu options. Highly recommend the Malai Kofta, Indo-Chinese dishes, and the variety of naan and parathas, which can be customized to your preferred spice level.

Have been going to Mrs Kumar’s since they opened. Keeps getting better. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly.
This time we were ordering with a friend & their son that have Celiacs disease. We called the restaurant to clarify what they could have on the menu. They were so helpful that they called us back to confirm one of the dishes could be made gluten free. The food was perfect. Delicious and safe for our guests. Can’t wait to have time to go dine in the new dining room. It looked beautiful when we were there for pick up.

After a game of golf me and my friend wanted Indian food and this came up on our search and i was attracted to its goat soup in the menu. A small place but very well set up and a friendly host. Unfortunately we saw that there was just one server doing everything. Literally everything from taking orders to delivering the DoorDashers to serving, billing, taking phone calls. It is literally inhuman for this one guy to just manage the whole restaurant when there is trafficn and is obviously naturally created backlog of a whole lot of people waiting. It took almost 20 minutes for him to take our order and we even felt bad to order an after food dessert. The host we could see trying to help But it was not enough As far as the food it was delicious and made to our liking. The goat soup was unique It was hot on the pepper but delicious. Plenty of portions. That was the best part they didn’t disappoint on the food. In our next golf outing I’m going to be back again..

We had a wonderful experience at the new location of this restaurant. The overall aesthetic and decor were beautiful, and the restaurant was pristine. The service was great, the entire staff was very attentive. Most importantly, the food was excellent! Everything was hot and delicious, and it all came out quickly. We will definitely be returning and will recommend to our friends and neighbors!
