Went to Mrs. K’s Kitchen for breakfast with dad and husband as were staying nearby for a few days from NYC. Every single item we ordered was outstanding.. we wished we had larger stomachs to order more. We definitely took home some leftovers. The service was pleasant and efficient. The patrons wee also very friendly. If you’re in the area, Mrs. K’s won’t disappoint!

We stopped for lunch based on the positive reviews and found great food and a cozy atmosphere. My chicken patty sandwich was tasty as were the crispy fries. The coleslaw, however, was a standout – flavorful and light. My husband said his corned beef hash and eggs were very good. We’ll come back again next time through.

Whoever said this food was bland never had a home cooked breakfast and I pity them. Our meals were delicious. The bacon had great flavor, home fries had just enough crisp. Pancakes and French toast were perfectly cooked. You cannot beat these low prices and they had seedless rye! The atmosphere was nostalgic, like going to Grandma’s house and the service was prompt and friendly. We are out of towners and definitely recommend.

Quaint family-style diner with good food at decent prices. Very friendly management and staff. Unique craft decorations, including a white Christmas tree in the corner. Bathrooms small yet very clean. The only downside is that Mrs K’s Kitchen presently accepts only checks and cash, but is working to source a processor for debit/credit.

Visiting the area and was brought to Mrs K’s for breakfast. Quaint old downtown Middleburg location. Friendly staff and clean. Full breakfast menu plus great daily breakfast specials that are a deal. Very nice breakfast!

Very good food, prompt service, good coffee, fair prices, and a cool, genuine atmosphere. Best omelet I’ve ever had…fresh and FLUFFY! (What’s your secret??) Nice to listen to the local townspeople laughing and talking and greeting each other! Recommend.

Mrs K’s Kitchen in the beautiful Village of Middleburgh is like many small town restaurants, more than a place to dine but a meeting place. Walking in you are greated by many large tables along with 4 tops with friends and families together having breakfast or lunch. It’s a destination where people get together and share stories of or fuel up before tackling whatever the day holds for them.
Mrs K’s features normal breakfast and lunch fare, they are known for their generous portions, fluffy pancakes and a changing menu of homemade pies featuring fruits from the surrounding farms.
We decided on takeout before tackling some yard work on a recent Saturday morning, pancakes, waffles and 2 BEC sandwiches on rolls. For the encore their strawberry rhubarb pie and strawberry shortcake topped with whipped cream.
All delicious but I found the waffles had bit of perhaps nutmeg that I could do without.
I don’t feel you can go wrong stopping in for a bite before or after touring the shops on Mainstreet of the surrounding area.
Try Mrs K’s for a real touch of Americana.
