Stopped by this restaurant before heading back home to Houston. Tried the meatloaf lunch and “OH MY GOODNESS!! ” This was the BEST meatloaf I have ever tried!!! The Chicken fried steak was also very delicious!! Everything was very delicious. The cornbread was SOOO good!!! The server and owner were super nice the atmosphere was so comfortable! This place is a must try if you are passing through Snyder Tx or staying here over night.

The staff is amazing! Lots of locals at lunchtime. We started with sweet cornbread and ordered the CFS & CFC. Both hot, fork tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes are real! Cream gravy excellent. I asked for the green beans recipe and my husband ate the mushrooms and onions first. Large portions, we ate all we could and brought home the rest for dinner. We will be back for sure!

Great little place, everything is home made the chicken is so so great. The staff is really really friendly. The owner is the cook and has the best smile and personality. Her alone is why the great review. I recommend the chicken fried chicken with cabbage and mash. Sweet tea is a must also the rolls and cornbread . Friendly place busy busy on Sundays try to go Monday-Thursday great days to go.

Fresh brewed tea is always a plus for our family, so yea. Serve fresh hot biscuits and cornbread with meals. My son got the chicken fried steak and it was a win! Tender! Cut with a fork! ( I hate a chewy chicken fried steak)
Anyways if you are in Snyder, definitely suggest lunch here❤️

We had the chicken fried chicken special. I don’t know what kind of spices lay under that breading but that was amazing. Superfresh and never frozen. The service was friendly and professional. And the cook is beautiful! I will ne back!

The food was great, not overly seasoned. The banana pudding was awesome, fluffy and airy. Didn’t get to try some of the sides I wanted, but really showed up too close to closing, will have to try again another day. The breading on the smothered steak was nice and thin, which I like, rather than the thick over-floured that you would find most places. I did see some nice looking salads at other tables that I might have to try next time around.
