I have been coming to Mrs. Goodman‘s for close to 12 years. I have ordered many birthday cakes for my kids and myself. I live off of their scones, and the walnut cookie is to die for. It’s both a blessing and a curse. I don’t live closer! I always have a great experience with everyone. I see behind the counter and I think that atmosphere is totally adorable. This review is long overdue… The cake I ordered was for my son’s 1st birthday. I had high expectations because it was such a special occasion. The cake they made exceeded my expectations and looked like something you would see in a magazine. It was so beautiful, I cried when I saw it. They walked it to my car and made sure it was secure. It was such an amazing cake- I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful cake. It was perfect for my son’s first birthday. People are still talking about it. Thank you- it meant so much to us.

We used Mrs. Goodman’s for our wedding cake last month. We gave them the inspiration pics posted below along with 2 photos of our wedding cake (the photos with the topper on it). We wanted the white roses from the one cake but the greenery from the other. We didn’t get to see the cake until cake cutting due to my parents picking up for us. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY!! They did so so well. It looked so amazing and tasted even better. They were also very affordable.
Michele helped us go through the process and she was very friendly, professional, and helpful.

I searched bakeries all over Columbus for a special order birthday cake, and Mrs. Goodman’s Baking Co. topped them all! From the first phone call, their team was incredibly friendly and helpful. They even stayed open a little later because my flight was delayed—I was surprising my best friend, and they helped make it perfect.
The cake itself? Unreal. So moist, and the buttercream frosting… I could eat it by the spoonful. If you’re looking for a cake for a special occasion, this is the place to go. Family-owned, full of heart, and absolutely delicious!

Mrs. Goodman’s blew us away with the desserts at my daughter’s First Communion! We ordered a cake (vanilla with buttercream frosting and strawberry filling), a dozen assorted cookies, and a dozen personalized cookies. The ordering process could not have been easier and they listened to all of our design ideas. The cookies all looked and more importantly tasted delicious! But the cake was the real star of the show. We had a variety of ages there and everyone loved it! Multiple people pulled me aside, asking where the cake was from as it was the best they’ve ever had! Thank you Mrs. Goodman’s for making our little lady’s special day even more memorable!

This is my all time favorite bakery that I have used since my sweet 16 that I plan on using for my wedding next year! They are so kind and thoughtful. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! They are reasonably priced too which is a bonus!
Today was my grandmother in laws birthday who turned 87 and is a veteran and I got a break at work (medical field) at 3 pm and called to pick up a cake and they said they closed at 2 pm but offered to still help and accomadate my needs by getting a last minute cake. I was so appreciative and couldn’t be happier with the amazing staff & service. I always recommend this bakery to anyone I know.
