We drive from Kooskia to get a burger and fry at this place, and the reason we drive this far is because we know it will be the same every time we go. It is very hard anymore to find a place as consistent as this place, everything we order is always the way we asked for, hot and done right every time. They become extremely busy at times and everything has been perfect. Kudo’s to the kids and owners for trying hard to do things right when people are eager to criticize.

The staff and the food was great. For a small town burger place it was delicious. Thank you

Burger was basic, not bad, not good, average precooked frozen patty. They serve “French Fry Sauce”, which immediately told me that this part of the country had found another way to get fatter.

It is an amazing place to hang out, they are so friendly. The burgers are amazing, and I love seeing all of the pictures on the walls.

Burger tasted like a microwaved burger at a gas station. Won’t be back. Twice now, no 3rd strike.

Edit: I’m not sure if it was a first time experience sort of thing but the workers have been less patient lately. Also, we paid 6$ for quarter sized mini corndogs, and we only got 5. It was kind of a bummer. A lot of my orders have been wrong lately too. Although I will say they are pretty timely with getting orders out! Just a bit expensive for fast food as the portions are pretty small now.

Drive through is really slow but sometimes worth it. They usually get my order wrong everytime and I tipped anyways but it has continued so I stopped tipping. I am not one to fuss too much about it so I won’t cross it off my list of places to eat just because something was wrong. Food has been cooked and good so I am happy to support. I remember when I was in high-school and how I acted during my first job so I can’t complain as if I am somehow innocent. They are teenagers and it’s most likely their first job so having patience with them is a must. They have always been nice so I have to take that into account as well.

Pretty standard little burger joint. A lot of small towns have one that is similar. They support the local high school, so they get a better rating for atmosphere. Otherwise its just a mostly modern building. Food was decent. They didn’t offer any sauce for the fries, which were medium sized steak fries (sauce is almost required to not choke on these). The burgers were ok. I have had better and I have had worse. They use frozen patties. Pricing was a little high for what you get. The soda fountain was over carbonated. There was also some sort of drama going on with the person taking the orders at the counter and some other lady. Kind of weird, but small town goings on I assume.

Hopefully this was just an off day for them but it was not great. Service was from a young teen who had few social skills. Food was just okay and for the price was not a good deal. I want to see local businesses thrive in Orofino but not sure how this will happen with current staff and product.
