My fiancé, cousin, aunt, and I visited Mrs. B’s and had such a great experience! We arrived around 7 o’clock (about an hour before closing) and ordered a ton of food. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was wonderful—attentive, kind, and never once made us feel rushed. Even though we stayed until 8:30, they didn’t mind at all and only brought us the check when we were ready.
Hands down, one of the most welcoming and enjoyable dining experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend Mrs. B’s!

Part restaurant and part bar. Burgers are made fresh. Our waitress was fantastic. The inside upstairs was kinda small. The bar and band were downstairs. Had a ice cream girl serving earlier. There is a parking lot across the road. Very nice place.

The staff was amazing! I’m GF and I always end up sacrificing on a meal to accommodate. One of the staff members found out I was GF and had ordered the club. She personally came out and let me choose which brand of GF bread I wanted to use. It was hands down the best club I’ve had in 5 plus years. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Good smash burgers but loaded with mustard, so much it was dripping off. Shepherd Pie was the special. Was good but normally at other restaurants it’s a larger portion. It was $13 with side salad. Restaurant was way too quiet. Overheard someone raise their voice to the only waitress with a question about an order. Waitress was 19 and couldn’t serve alcohol beverages to another table. Needs some music or background noise. We sat at a window to see out and their local basketball team schedule was taped on the window. Last we told the 1 and only waitress that we were traveling and could we have a to go drink and she brought us 2 empty cups. Drinks were $3 each

Atmosphere & service was great— but I was shocked when I got my bill. I ordered the “special” that was listed on the black board- pot roast. No price was shown. Usually when you get the special, it is a reasonable price. Our server recommended it… but never mentioned the cost. It was $18.95 for a medium size bowl of pot roast and potatoes, only 1 little carrot. No salad, no bread, no drink. I would have expected more for that price.

Cute town to stop in on the way through Virginia. Quick and tasty lunch at Mrs. B’s! Burgers are made fresh and taste like it! Natalie, our server, was accommodating and very welcoming. We checked out the historic swinging bridge before heading back out on the road.

This place is across from the bridge in Buchanan, VA. THEIR FOOD IS DELICIOUS. The service was great. Sissy and I plan to go back up there just for dessert one day! We had breakfast that day and it was really good!!

We stopped here for a pleasant and relaxing lunch. The patio seating is perfect for a warm sunny day, with lots of space.
I had the burger, which was made with good quality meat and cooked perfectly. My husband had the fish and chips, which was a very generous portion of flaky fish. The apple pie was delicious too.
Service was warm and friendly. We’ll go out of our way to stop here again.

A nice rural lunch and bar location that will provide a satisfying meal or refreshment during a day on the river, or passing through. Easily accessible from I-81 – so get off the thorough-fare and try some local fare.
Staff are friendly and attentive, providing quick service and personable conversation. There is limited indoor seating, but with the outdoor options in good weather, it has room for a decent crowd.
The Pineapple Paradise is a fabulous appetizer that is much more delectable before a big meal as opposed to treating it as a dessert afterward. The pineapple chunks have a very nice warm caramelization and are spread over a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream with generous cinnamon sugar on fresh fried flour tortilla chips.
The Philly Cheese Steak and Onion Rings are a nice combination and a substantial portion that is quite satisfying. The meat and vegetables are well cooked and in good proportion to the bread and each other. It was a little salty to my taste, but acceptable. The water in the area is a little off and can affect the flavor of the sodas due to the ice.
All in all, a nice respite for the road or river weary traveler.

Great variety on their menu in a super cute, picturesque Americana downtown (Buchanan, VA). The food was great and fast, as well as friendly service from our waitress. The facilities were clean!
