This was the absolute worst takeout food I’ve ever received. I didn’t say “eaten” because it was not edible. I never write reviews but this was so bad I felt I needed to let others know. I ordered the Beijing Chicken and Chicken Lettuce Wraps (spelled “Lecttuce” on my receipt). The Beijing Chicken was translucent. I took a bite of it and it was stringy and chewy. I kept chewing and chewing and it never broke down. I spit it out and tried another bite, same thing. I tried another piece and again the same result. I don’t know what was inside those little fried blobs, but it was NOT chicken. The chicken in the Chicken Lettuce Wraps was made of brown, dry, shriveled pieces of something indeterminable. I’ve ordered Chicken Lettuce Wraps many times from other restaurants, but this was not any kind of chicken I’d ever encountered in Chicken Lettuce Wraps and it had no taste. I didn’t want to give this restaurant even one star but it was required to write a review. The lettuce was the only part of this meal that was fresh and edible, even the white rice was dry and hard. It all went into the trash. I was out $24.51 and went to bed without dinner. Save your health and your money. This was really gross!!! See attached pics.

Incredibly rude service. It literally felt like a sitcom because we couldn’t believe how badly they treated our group – from the woman who seemed to be the boss/owner to the wait staff. I never write reviews, but feel compelled to here. We were a 10+ party of nice, respectful people with a reservation that had been made weeks in advance. Not only was the seating not ready when we arrived, but when they did seat us, it was at 2 round tables so socializing was impossible because they spilt our group into two. Unacceptable as they knew the number of people in the reservation. The food was mediocre, portions were small and overpriced. They brought a pot of tea to each table and had the audacity to attempt to charge for this – per person – and not everyone consumed the tea. Instead of food being served/laid out on the table – it was handed to us – even small bowls of rice. I had to place.my drink and entree on the windowsill as they made no attempt to normally place anything on our table. I am still reeling from how awful a restaurant this is and not only would we never return, I feel the public should know this is a bizarre and inappropriate restaurant – in every way. Shame on you, Mr. Zhang’s!

Food was good.. however, service was lacking.. warmth from server, who spilled tea… soaking the tablecloth and made no attempt to change it out. Also the staff was busy watching the horse races on TV and were quite vocal and distracting . Since we were not in sports type restaurant , not what I consider acceptable service behavior… especially since it was right next to our table.
Probably good for takeout although a little pricey.

Worst food and rude service as we were seated at window table/seat for 2 by the bar the wood slats on the window were filthy with old food on them and nasty dirty windows. Got Mongolian Orange beef was absolutely disgusting reminded me of nasty frozen country fried steak that was cut in small pieces with bottled flavored gravy and chunks of orange rind mixed in. We also got chicken fried rice…HA only 5 pieces of thin cut chicken all rice. We got lettuce wraps for appetizer only came with 4 lettuce cups asked for extra lettuce and was charged $5 for 4 small pieces. Server never came back to table and this place only had 3 other tables of customers place was empty that should of been our 1st sign…Never again!!

im not one to complain, but everything was horrible. the chicken i ordered tasted rubbery and it seemed like it was sitting in water all day. not to mention that there were only three or four little pieces in the meal. the other meal we ordered was nothing but breading all over the chicken(very little chicken). and the rice was no real pork fried rice….no pork and deff not fried… poor poor experience… will not go back…there are multiple other Chinese places within a mile of this restaurant and our house… just wanted to try a different one and this is not the place! by the way we ordered take out. i cant speak for the dine in option.

Done with this Mr. Zhangs.
Mr Zhangs has always been only 2-3 clicks above mediocre, which makes it 4-5 clicks above everything else in the north end of PB County. It’s impossible to find good Chinese food in Florida. I’ve given up.

I’ve been getting take-out on average 3-4 times a month from Mr Zhangs since it opened [5-7-9 years??? Not sure but a very long time].
The last 2-3 times the quality of the food and the texture/consistency of the food was very diminished from all previous visits.

I can count the times on both hands I’ve eaten at the restaurant.
This past visit will be my last. They were not very crowded yet we waited about 20 mins for our food. My food was at least another 10 mins after everyone else was delivered to table.

Mine was cold. I noted and mentioned to my friend they must’ve realized they screwed up because they gave me so much. The portion was immense.
I only ate a little of what was on the plate. When the waitress took it in the back to put into a ‘to go’ container she brought me out a little cardboard ‘to go’ container that was probably 1/2 of what was left on the plate.

When I said something, the manager and waitress both gave me an attitude.
I’m done with this place and until someone can recommend an alternative, done with Chinese food in Florida.

Friday night dinner. Seated quickly. Service was quick but not the most friendly. The food was served quickly and in large quantities. The food was good but not spectacular. If you are a soda drinker, be advised – it’s served by the can at $2.50 each. Overall an OK place.

A level above traditional Chinese cuisine in South Florida. The shrimp and scallion dumplings and shrimp and watercress dumplings are absolutely incredible. Have enjoyed the stuffed eggplant immensely. Mongolian beef, spare ribs, steamed pork buns and dim sum are all well worth the trip – we drive 40 minutes for this treat!

One of the worst dining experiences. The food was terrible. The waitress was rude She removed the dishes while we were eating even though there was food on the plates. Rushing us to finish was her main goal. We confronted her but to no avail. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. We will never return!

These are the RUDEST people I have ever dealt with and the food is barely ok… I placed an order as my lunch is only 30 min long, but wanted to eat there. Just needed it ready by the time I got there. They REFUSED to let us stay there to eat.. to eat food we purchased from them. The lady at the front was horrible. Will never be back. They deserve negative stars.
