If you’re looking for a sushi buffet with great selections and a reasonable price, come to Mr. Tokyo. Lunch Monday – Friday, 11 -3 pm. is only $15.00 for unlimited sushi and hibachi. Great deal! The dining area is huge, so there are plenty of seats for a huge party. The service was great! The drinks were always topped off, the food was sent out quickly, and the waiter was constantly checking his tables. Everything that was ordered was made fresh from the appetizers to the sushi rolls to the nigiri . I will definitely go back!

We go to both the Monroe and Matthews Mr. Tokyo locations pretty regularly…and when we’re not dining in, we’re ordering takeout. Monroe is definitely our favorite of the two! The food is consistently good, and the all-you-can-eat sushi options are solid. Sapporo is always a great pick too. The vibe at the Monroe location just feels better overall..it’s our go-to spot when we’re craving sushi!

We visited Mr. Tokyo on 11/8 around 2:15 p.m., and shortly after sitting down, we saw a small roach on the wall right next to our table. We immediately got up and left.
We haven’t been to this location in about a year and decided to give it another chance — but after what we saw today, we definitely won’t be coming back. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to have this kind of issue. This location clearly needs regular health inspections to ensure it meets basic cleanliness and food safety standards.

This was the second time ive been to this location, the last visit was ok if not slow, this visit was sat at our table and waited 15mins with no one coming to our table. There was a small crowd but not slammed by any means. Watched other tables get serviced and attended to and they just walked by my wife, child and myself. I’ve been to other locations with no problems not sure what the issue is at this location but would not recommend if you want any kind of good service

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Mr Tokyo’s. It was our first time there so we didn’t know exactly what to expect. The food was delicious. Very fresh and the yum yum sauce was some of the best ever. We ordered from the menu but their options for unlimited were very appealing. The prices were also very reasonable.
Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere was clean and family friendly.
We will definitely return.

Pretty good for a franchise sushi spot! The prices are reasonable. The wait time is minimum. The cuts were nice and the flavors were well put together. Friendly server. The kids (big one included) ♥️’d the fried ice cream. Seaweed salad was a hit
