Who would’ve guessed that such a laid back gem is in Omaha?! I went for the Sunday Jazz night & it was worth stepping out into the cold for.
The drinks were yummy and the music was good. One of the best parts of my night was our server (pronounced “Tah-zhey” if I’m not mistaken). She was so delightful, helpful, enthusiastic, warm, and humorous. Definitely good vibes all around.
There was a good mix of people across age ranges, which was refreshing. A lot of locals seem to frequent it a lot. Some even making art as they relax. The sense of community there was nice to experience.
I’ll definitely be planning to visit this spot in Omaha again.

I have been to Omaha a ton of times. I have walked by this place a bunch and never wandered in. I didn’t realize what I was missing!
I had a Tenderloin to eat, which was awesome!
My bartender was super nice, I didn’t catch her name.
The atmosphere/vibe was amazing! I love all the decor.
I’ll definitely be making this a regular stop from now on.

We took a stroll through the Old Market and heard the cool piano music from the street! It happened to be on a Wednesday when Kevin was playing. The atmosphere was very relaxing!

Where we sat the 5 other people in the room with us were so loud, you would have thought there were a dozen people in there. No chance for quiet talk in this place not with loud mouths like that.

An Omaha institution and an ideal place to grab drinks in a laid back and unfussy atmosphere with lots of understated character. Service is tops.

What a cool bar! Sat inside since outdoor area was full but was not disappointed due to the charming and nostalgic interior. Great service was only outdone by the perfectly mixed drink. We didn’t eat anything but heard the food is good. Friendly and truly happy that you visited. The whole Old Market vibe is unique and enjoy it every time we visit Omaha. Highly recommend!

It’s not often that I go somewhere and end up throughly impressed! As soon as we walked in, I was met with the smell of coffee. So many places often burn their coffee products, but not Mr. Toad! I took a sip of my friend’s drink, and even though I don’t like darker coffee drinks, I was able to taste the flavor of the brew itself. The liquor was a plus! Additionally, there are different events on different days of the week, and a weekday happy hour. The Library is full of old court documents that people are encouraged to write in/leave notes in. It was very LGBTQ+ friendly, the staff were informative and very lovely. The patrons were also very nice! It’s rare to see a good place with good patrons, but Mr. Toad has them! The drinks were wonderful, the company was fantastic, and the vibes were immaculate. I will be returning in the near future!

It’s was fine but the help here is always unfriendly. I come to Omaha for work and have been here twice. And they are just not nice.
