Went in yesterday 11/15 around 2ish with 12 people 2 tables were moved together, menus were given out to order food and buckets of beer were bought. After waiting to order our food for 20 minutes the waitress had informed us there would be a 45 minute wait for food. Are group was ok with that.. 20 more minutes goes by and the Bartender came over to our table with a very poor attitude and told us we cannot order food because there was only one cook and we had to many people.. then she proceeded to walk away rolling her eyes. Like I said before we did not mind to wait for our food knowing there was one cook. So if our group of 12 all spread out in booths and ordered at different tables it would have been the same thing right? Not only was she rude she took money away from the bar and the bar owners who are running it but also the waitress who would of got a very good tip from our group and she took away from the cook who would of also got a tip from us for cooking solo for our group. I will not be back if this bartender is working. Our room ended up at the Midwestern bar that also only had ONE cook and we had no problems and the food was amazing!

The atmosphere of this place was so nice. The western burger I had tasted so good, the burger itself grilled like a yummy 4th of July burger. Mark was very pleasant and attentive . Everything was fresh and hot and the drinks were great. Will definitely be back!!

This place is awesome awesome staff even better food I would recommend this place any time after 11. They have the most tasty pickle shots I’ve ever had in my life including a pepper Cheaneys shot which is phenomenal. They also have there homemade moonshine and pretty much anything you need. The walk to the end of Main is worth it one of the last good bars on Main with a moose in the middle on the wall which is awesome.

Another mainstay in St. Charles. Pretty lively crowd, standard bar menu. On the north end of Main Street, so parking seems a little easier.

We came here because they weren’t busy but it was still over 40 minutes for the two fastest appetizers on the menu according to the waitress. Waitress kept saying they only have one cook and a big table came in. If you can’t serve customers in a timely manner maybe you should warn customers that there will be a 40+ minute wait for food then so they go somewhere else.

Mr Thirstys is a happy hour and book club go to for me and my coworkers after work. We love sharing different appetizers, burgers are delish, and their homemade variety of pickle shots are huge and top tier. There’s nothing like sipping on an ice cold pepperoncini shot with some gold old bar appetizers. We typically go on Wednesdays and always get wonderful service from the bartender Ashley, she’s great and always friendly!

it’s amazing how the servers don’t remember what has been ordered and by who with a 6 person party with about 10 people in the hole place. then it was obvious when the bartender/server said she was doing rumblemintz shots all day. this at 1pm. my friend was charged the wrong price twice and it took it out of her account. we will find out in about 3 days if she’s charged properly.
