Great food and service, which can be difficult to come by at 3pm on a Tuesday. The Taco Tuesday street tacos special is definitely worth a try. Just enough to make a satisfying meal at a great price. I added a tamale and top shelf margaritas to round out my late lunch. Give them a try!

Best Mexican spot in the city and greater area. Great chips, margs, and flavors are spot on. Margarita tower is indeed a giant tower. Place can be filled with loud college kids though; the one downside to the atmosphere.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Queso was good, the birria tacos were delicious and juicy, full of flavor. I almost ordered a second helping. The service was outstanding. Definitely worth checking out.

From the service to the food, 10/10! Affordable, fast, fresh, and delicious!! So far we’ve tried a lot of things off the menu and have not been disappointed one time. The pomegranate margaritas and the fajitas are out of this world! I highly recommend getting the dip trio as well! Happy hour here is amazing as well!

Food was amazing. I went out for lunch at lundi gras. It seemed like there was one busser and one server but the server always came around when needed which was impressive. My only thing is the queso being 8 bucks and I finished all of it with half my chips left.

My sister and I went here for Taco Tuesday ( 10$ for 5 tacos) to catch up since we’re in college now.
We tried every flavor sans the chorizo.

Then we had a churro cake for dessert because they did not have flan at the time and my days! 10/10 ( bit pricey for 8 dollars considering the size, though) It tasted like bread pudding and cinnamon toast crunch had a baby.
18% gratuity was included in the final price under the category of other charges ( think it’s always included on Tuesdays according to the menu )
Total was approximately 57 dollars, rounding up. Better to pay with cash than card ( as we did ).
Overall, we would revisit again. Food was great, banter with the server was cool, and we had a fun time.

Mr. Tequila is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in New Orleans. The food is delicious, the margaritas are amazing, and the staff is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! We have been here two times already and absolutely love it! I couldn’t recommend it enough! If you dine here are are guaranteed a wonderful experience!! Thank y’all so much for always treating us so wonderfully! We can’t wait to come back next week!!

I love this place the atmosphere and the great customer service those guys are AWESOME, i rushed over for lunch made my ordered on line, once i got back to work i could smell the rice was bad. i did call and they refunded the rice. i also purshased beans. i figured the bean were okay , i started eating them and had to stop my stomach started hurting. i just didn’t feel and couldn’t return because again i was at work,better luck next time iguess, maybe not.

Great food. Chips were warm and thin with the right amount of salt. Salsa had just a hint of spice and great flavor. Dip trio was great. A large portion, perfect for 4 people. Queso was creamy. Guac was fresh but a little too much acid. Carne asada was tender and full of flavor. Will definitely return.

This Mexican place rocks!!! The drinks are good quality, huge, and at a reasonable price!! The food and service are exceptional!!, as soon as you arrive, you’re welcome with free chips and salsa, and the servers treat you really well!!.. I loved the experience of eating/drinking here!, I’m definitely coming back! Don’t miss the weekly specials! (See picture). Also, they have plenty vegetarian options!!, they are awesome!
