From the service to the food, 10/10! Affordable, fast, fresh, and delicious!! So far we’ve tried a lot of things off the menu and have not been disappointed one time. The pomegranate margaritas and the fajitas are out of this world! I highly recommend getting the dip trio as well! Happy hour here is amazing as well!

I hate writing bad reviews but this time I felt it was necessary. I’m going to start off with the good bc I believe the kitchen staff deserves a good praise. The food was very good. Tacos were packed full, the queso was perfect, and the frozen margaritas were so tasty! The kitchen staff did such a good job on the food and the bartenders (I’m guessing) did good on the frozen margaritas. Our food was done in like 10 minutes (it was not busy , about two other small tables, but I still think that’s good). The problem comes in with our waitress who didn’t give her name, she was younger and had red hair with tinsel in it. She seemed like she wanted absolutely nothing to do with us, before we could finish our questions she’d walk away cutting us off (multiple times). By the time she got us salt and napkins to eat our food it was basically cold. What topped it off at the end was that I asked for the bill to be split (which there was only two of us) with drinks and queso on one ticket and then the rest of the food on a separate one. She messed it up which I totally understand that people make mistakes and didn’t really think much of it so my partner asked her very nicely if we can get it fixed. She then grabs the tickets and basically storms off literally putting her head back like she was annoyed. Can I also add that I heard such good things about this place that I picked it as my birthday dinner spot and she just completely ruined our experience. Even though the food tasted better than tacos and beer I would go there over having to deal with a waitress like that again. Sorry for the long review but I hope the establishment might be able to create a better atmosphere by the people they hire.

Absolutely the best ceviche! Good king cake margaritas and pretty quick service. Not a jumping and happening joint but I come back here every year for ceviche.

I have no idea why so many people are giving this place such high scores. We had a reservation (a group of 6) for an early weeknight dinner. We were seated promptly, at a table by the front door, in June–which is to say, it was HOT by the door. Then we waited a long time for drink orders to be taken–when it was early evening and not nearly full. The high-end tequila selection is only 3 options–not what we expected for a place CALLED “Mr. Tequila.” Giving an extra star for the food quality, because it was good. Service was slow, AND the waiter spilled an entire bowl of salsa on one person in our group. Nearly $200 later, we left with: near-heat-stroke, a stained sleeve (from the salsa spill), bellies full, and zero apologies, zero comped on the checked. Would not recommend based on customer treatment alone–there are much better options in NOLA for you to spend your time and hard-earned money.

Came here on Mardi Gras Tuesday and got seated after a short wait with a group of 10! The servers were really nice and we got a ton of free salsa and nachos to munch on as our food came.

Brought my son to the bathroom after telling the waitress I was bringing him to the bathroom and we’d be back so my son could complete his meal. As we were walking back to our table i noticed our table being cleared off. We were not done eating or finished our drinks. Lastly, the waitress kept playing with her tongue ring while taking my order. She was in no way remorseful for not communicating to the staff that we’d be back to our table.

Food wasn’t bad just not the type of Spanish food I’m use too. Staff was super friendly and didn’t mind me changing my dish. I originally ordered the nacho fries but they were not what I expected. I felt they would have been better with queso vs shredded cheese. I sent it back and changed to the tortilla soup and it was pretty good. Queso was good as well. My husband wasn’t crazy about his enchiladas. The place is worth checking out in my opinion.
