This place is awesome. The food is off the chain. The lunch specials are really good and quite frankly I love Mexican food and this is some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. The staff is friendly and the food came out lightning fast and delicious. I’m not easy to please. In this place pleases me easily. I suggest you try it. You’ll like it.

I have been around the restaurant industry my entire career. I would hands down recommend this to anyone looking for great food. I had the 4 Tacos (steak) and it was so tender and juicy and plenty fully in the tacos. If I had to rate as seen 5 stars just does not do it justice.

Been here a couple times now and we’ve had a good experience each visit. The inside is beautifully decorated, I love the table and chairs. The food is good, especially the carnitas. Service and atmosphere stellar, good drinks, good chips and salsa at the table. A lot of menu items to choose from. Good place to hang out, drink and eat some good Mexican food. Will be going back again and would recommend.

We ordered 3 meals and cheese sauce to go. We live 45 min away and when we got home the cheese sauce wasn’t in the bag and neither was the salsa verde that we asked for. $74 for 3 meals we thought it was a bit expensive but since we had heard good things we wanted to give it a try. The response I got when I called to inform them of the missing items was less than adequate. The young lady said well there is nothing I can do for you because you live so far away but go ahead and become a member of our rewards program and we will give you a discount next time. 1. She didn’t take any info from me so I’m assuming there won’t be any record to prove I called and 2. We will not be going back the food was not what we had been lead to believe. It was bland and tasteless. The restaurant is nice but way over priced we get way better mexican food in our little town for less than half of what this place charges.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, Mister Tequila is the place to go! The restaurant at 10041 University Plaza Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33913 has a beautiful setting with a great atmosphere. We had an amazing experience, and the highlight of our night was our server, Ricardo Davila —incredibly kind and attentive! If you stop by, make sure to ask for him; he’ll take great care of you. Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area!
