“My family and I were just passing through Wasilla and decided to stop at Mr. Taco, and it turned out to be a great experience. Where we live, we don’t have Mexican food this good, so this was a really nice surprise.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal. I even asked to speak with the cook, just to personally say thank you. He treated us very well and kindly introduced himself as Mike, which made the experience feel even more personal and welcoming.
We enjoyed it so much that before leaving, we decided to buy a Mr. Taco gift card so we could come back again and also share it with someone else. I highly recommend Mr. Taco to anyone visiting or living in Wasilla who is looking for great Mexican food.”

My wife and I took our girls here for dinner and were blown away. The food is house made, fresh salsa, real guacamole, fantastic tortillas. None of the canned refried beans and boxed Spanish rice filling the void on a lifeless plate. For all of us that have suffered for years at Chepos, this is a night and day experience. Great portions, very reasonable prices, and friendly staff. I can’t speak high enough of this restaurant.

One of my favorite meals is the street tacos, the chicken fajitas are delicious. The pozole, so much flavor.

Absolutely delicious carnitas tacos… Good as the ones back in Mexico!
I wasn’t expecting to find tacos this good all the way in Alaska, but these blew me away. The carnitas were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, topped with fresh cilantro and onions, just like they should be. The roasted jalapeño and lime on the side were a great touch too. Super recommendable, especially for the price — great value and authentic flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Stopped by for a snack and just a snack; had to go to dinner later. Well oh my gosh I don’t know if I’m going to dinner later, this was AMAZING! And they knew we had to leave fast so let us sit at a table but still packed it up just in case. And the taco I got, I’m angry I have to eat something else tonight. This is one of the BEST damn tacos I’ve ever had, my taste buds are singing!

Mr. Taco has fast service, good food and a clean restaurant. The street tacos, Asada fries and chimichangas are our favorites. The food is very delicious. The owner is very friendly. All in all a good place to Mexican food in Wasilla.
