I don’t too often write reviews.. Let alone potentially biased ones. I’ve known Ruben for half a year now on a mostly business level until more recently. You can smell a lack of authenticity or care in people.. He lacks no authenticity or care. Rubens continued to be extremely intentional and hospitable to me every interaction we have. These qualities are reflected through this restaurant. My food opinions are obviously subjective, everything was EXCELLENT. I had their gigantic quesadilla and chorizo and steak taco (pictured). To husbands with pregnant wives – my wife is in her first trimester. She’s had a hard time wanting to eat or keeping any food down. The triple meat GIGANTIC quesadilla has by far been her favorite thing this pregnancy… I went to do belly talk with my newest child last night hours after she’d had the meal… I’m pretty sure I heard them say “Yo Quiero Mr. Taco”…

LOVE the decor! So bright and cheerful. Stopped because menu has traditional Mexicsn tacos which I love. I had one chicken and one pastor both on flour tortillas, and they were really really good. I like spicy hot, but their red sauce kicked my ass. will stick to the milder green. Service was OK, needs more practice speaking English though.
Back in area 6 months later update, ordered 2 chicken tacos on flour tortillas with the green sauce. Noted $1.16 charge extra per tortilla, assume for flour rather than corn tacos. Sadly my Spanish is better than the order taker’s English still. And my Spanish is bad. The girl that brought my order out from the kitchen, however, speaks perfect English she probably should be the one taking orders.

Stopped in at lunch to get a few “street style” tacos to-go. Ordered two chorizo and two beef. They were FANTASTIC! The grilled onions really made them! If you like sauce, go with the red! Yum!!!!! Will definitely return!!!

I’ve eaten here many times. The food is good. I just came in tonight at 7:40 p.m. and there is one large table & a couple seated in another table. Quite a few tables completely open and the people that work there just looked at me. I stood there for probably 6 or 7 minutes and then finally just went to Casa Ortiz where I was seated in less than 60 seconds and was able to place my order in just a few minutes.

I ordered 2 asada Huaraches and 2 asada tacos, and they were fantastic. The food I ordered was perfect, it tasted great, and was cooked well.
The customer service was not good. I called in my order to-go. I was given the wrong order and charged for it. This was my first time ever eating here. A woman, I do not know her name, she took over my order and my refund. She was obviously angry, and she raised her voice at me. I got a refund for the order I was charged for, and I was told that I was “not allowed” to get chips & salsa with my food, because I kept the chips & salsa from the order they gave to me. I didn’t ask for chips & salsa with my correct order. This woman was cussing in Spanish, I guess she thought that the customers (including myself) didn’t speak Spanish, but I do, I am bilingual. I was extremely uncomfortable, she was very upset and making it obvious to everybody. I got a refund for the incorrect order, and paid the correct amount for my order, and left a top. At the end of the day, we should always tip service industry employees. The food tasted amazing, but I will not be back based on the customer service.

Food was wonderful and the service was on point. We waited a bit longer than some Mexican restaurants but it was totally worth the wait to me. Probably some of the best Mexican food I ate in Chilton Co and I’m sad I’m just now finding out about this place since we live so close. We will definitely be coming back for more
