I love this place! The best sushi in denver is right here. The sumo rolls are my favorite and i don’t know how they do it but the shashimi is always fresh and great tasting. The owners name is Marvin and he really captures the atmosphere of an upscale Japanese sushi bar. The prices are great and they send out coupons in the money mailer which makes it even more worth it.

The pieces are large, great quality, and the price is right. The restaurant is nicely appointed and the service is friendly. The unagi pieces I got in particular were twice the size that I have seen in other sushi places.
The only thing I could criticize, and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is that the crab is imitation. But I will definitely be back again.

Large portions, great prices, a great deal!
The seaweed salad is a larger portion than every place we’ve ever had it and it cost less.
Our only criticism was that the crab in the tempura and in the california roll was imitation, but it still tasted wonderful!

Love it here. The sushi is amazing and inexpensive! Even our children like coming. They go for the sesame chicken which I have to admit is fantastic. We recommend it to everyone!

Put in an order for pick up and was told it would be 30-40 minutes. At 40 minutes, arrived at the restaurant and was told it would be another 20 minutes. So, I ran a quick errand and they said they would call once the food is done. Well I received a call and drove back. The checked me out and handed me the food and it wasn’t our order. Worst experience. Also, I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars, beyond this awful experience, the sushi isn’t that good

I am very surprised at this establishments prestige rating. My fiancé and I decided to give Mr. Sushi a try after reading all of the positive reviews. Needless to say, our visit was not completely a disaster, but it certainly was disappointing. My fiancé has celiac disease, which (at first) they seemed to know what we were talking about (basically no wheat); she is also allergic to avocados. The server brought out our rolls, when she arrived at our table she noticed the veggie rolls were made with regular soy sauce (which has wheat in it). She offered to remake them, and promptly returned to the table with a new veggie roll, but instead of soy sauce this time, it had avocados! We enjoyed the other rolls we ordered, although they were not anything special. The overall ambiance was very “cafeteria like”, too! Hopefully this isn’t the REAL “Mr. Sushi”, because he left us disappointed!

Went before a movie. About what you would expect for a strip-mall sushi joint. Food was decent, staff was nice, and service was relatively quick. Nothing was particularly awesome, so a solid 4 stars. Would go again.

This is a place to take some one that is just trying out sushi. California rolls with different toppings is basically their menu. Nice people but I’d rather go somewhere more adventurous for the taste buds.
