I’ve been dining at Mr. Submarine Mr. Gyros since I was a child…definitely over 40 years!! I have to say, this place always delivers when it comes to quality food for fair prices!! I ordered this time 2 gyro platters which come with hot, fresh cooked French fries & a soft drink each. Gyros were excellent in flavor and portion!! Fries were cooked perfectly as always!! They have daily specials which are nice throughout the week. Subs and burgers are just a couple more things I recommend to order!! They have a great variety of menu selections to order from. Happy to see that the inside looks great as it’s authentic to the establishment through the years. Keep up the great work and thank you for the amazing work you have done for years!!! Hard work pays off!! Shout out to the staff for doing amazing work and great service!! Looking forward to visiting again sooner than later!!!

I have been coming to this place close to 15 years, the gyro is always amazing and in My opinion the best in pinellas! The owner is always there and enjoys what he does. I’m pretty sure it’s the same cook/chef for over 15 years! That means something. Thanks guys and keep it up.

I ordered a Gyro salad which in most places is a Greek Salad with Gyro, when I asked if it was he said no that’s a different salad but he can make it with that. When he charged me it was 16.00 Instead of the menu price of 10.99 and he said it was because he rang in a Greek salad plus the Gyro meat was separate. I tried to express I wanted the Gyro Salad and he wouldn’t budge. When I got home there was ham all in my salad I was so confused, it was awful.

I love going to this place the steak and cheese is off the chain. We usually get a basket of french fries too. My son and I split this. They are very nice people and they run a great business. This is what’s right in America.

Food was prepared fast and service was great. Tried the cheese steak with added gyro meat. Gyro meat was full of flavor and would recommend getting the gyro and skip the cheese steak. The bread was soft and chewy which was great for a hoagie sandwich. I will definitely try their other offerings.
