ordered a giant turkey sub off doordash and paid a extra $4 for extra meat and got little to no turkey on my sub the bread was stale and the Cajun nuggets were cold & stale in fact i paid over $60 for the entire order, the entire order was stale & missing cheese and other ingrediencies….. i did not even get my drinks this experience was so bad that for the first time i felt like had to call customer support by phone to see if this god awful sub shop could be removed from the doordash platform “DO NOT ORDER” from here

Blue haired tattoo girl made my father’s sub tonight, he asked for roast beef with Russian LTO and cheese.. she spreads one little handful of lettuce on the giant sub, then squeezes mayo all over the thing.. I spoke up, calling her out but my father, the nice man he is, accepted it..

Disappointed with my visit to Mr. Sub, Green Island
I’ve been a regular at Mr. Sub for years, usually stopping in at least once a week for my go-to, the tuna sub. Unfortunately, my most recent visit to the Green Island location was a huge letdown. The sub was practically all lettuce, and there was almost no tuna at all. It was the worst experience I’ve had at Mr. Sub in years. I’m really disappointed because I’ve always enjoyed their subs, but this one was a major miss. Might be time to try something new, maybe even head over to Jersey Mike’s.

5/10/2025 I ordered via Doordash from the Green Island, NY location and got rotten cajun potato nuggets that tasted really bad. This is the second time I got stale potato nuggets. The sub I got was delicious and fresh. I just wish there was better quality and consistency. Usually, these issues don’t stem from day to day employees, it’s up to the manager to teach their employees food handling and safety and supervise employees to make sure customers receive fresh items. No one likes to waste their money and time on bad food. Treat others people how you want to be treated.

The 2 young ladies working at this location on 7/20 deserve to be recognized and commended for their courtesy and service. I’m a recently displaced vet and completely unfamiliar with this area. So that is to say, their friendly attitudes and courtesy were exemplary – in a time where that’s rare in most American retail operations anymore – and made the experience even more pleasant than the food. Which was also a nice surprise, and well prepared. I can recommend this place as long as these two are running it.

Great place to have lunch, subs are very good. Portions are good, quality of the food is good. I like the cold cuts, steak, and Buffalo chicken sub. Much prefer to eat here rather than the national sub chain. Employees are fast, efficient and obliging. Atmosphere is clean, tidy and inviting. Bathroom was clean and stocked.

I always get 2 have a half a day. No oil. The employee’s are always pleasant. I don’t go to any restaurant unless I have tip money. They had a tip jar so I had to pass sometimes. Finally you can put it on your debit card. The store is immaculate.
