The staff members are friendly, and while parking can be a bit challenging due to limited spaces in the back, it is manageable. I highly recommend ordering a whole sub; it is definitely a worthwhile experience. Please remember that this establishment accepts cash payments only. I personally enjoyed the 14B, a turkey and cheese sub, which was so substantial it took me two days to finish. Additionally, there are a few treats available for purchase.

Thank you Mr. Sub, Your sandwiches are amazing, best Italian subs in NJ. I went next door today. But because of the snow I parked in Mr Sub’s Handicapped parking space. He could’ve had my car towed but was nice enough to just put a warning note. I have bought sandwiches many times from Mr. Sub and I’m always satisfied. I so appreciate the mom wnf pop style customer service and the sandwiches are always the freshest from bread to sliced meat. You don’t find these kind of shops around so Mr Sub of Union is a hidden treasure. I will be ordering my next sub while I’m snowed in this weekend.

Saw people raved about this on TikTok. Drove 25 mins. And I should have stayed home. Dry , flavorless tough sandwich. Better off at Jersey Mike’s. How can you mess up a turkey sandwich? Trashed more than half the sub. The drink was delicious though! Not worth the price at all.

Was in around 1:30 on a Monday. Not terribly busy. Had to wait a couple minutes.
To call the menu extensive will be putting it mildly. If you can’t find something here to eat, question the decisions that led you to this point.
Due to my gluttonous nature, I went with the “belly buster” h-basically an Italian with some extra meat. The bread, toppings, meat, etc — all of it extremely fresh and delicious. The full size is absolutely enormous. There’s at least two meals for a normal human.
One of the better delis I found in the area for sure. I will be back.

As soon as I walked into MR. Sub I felt like it was going to be like a Jersey Mike’s, but the service was so unlike an assembly line you just know the food was going to be a step above. The sandwiches were excellent with prices that are equally as good. The menu is extensive with many different choices (I plan on trying them all) stop by and see Joe he and his crew will set ya up with heaven on sandwich. What ever one you choose you can’t go wrong.

My husband and I tried this place out , sandwiches are priced well . My only complaint is the fake chicken impossible meat that was given , I expected real chicken cutlets and know the difference between real chicken breast vs mystery meat .Other than that my sandwich would have been very good . If there is a next time I’ll stick to cold cuts .
