Really large pita sandwiches. stuffed with delicious filling and sauce. fries are shoestring style which was pretty good. I got the beef/lamb gyro meat, and it was really good though maybe a tad dry. they gave a lot of meat so I appreciated it.

The platters are a lot more expensive than I am used to (usually $15-16, but these cost $21+), but I have never ordered one so maybe they are really large or something.

Went to this place a couple of weeks ago and ordered a gyro and it really good. Fast forward to a couple of weeks later; my husband ordered another one for me and 5 minutes after ordering it, they handed him the gyro. He was alil suspicious, but it looked ok so he paid. Upon getting it home and taking about 3 bites, I IMMEDIATELY started feeling weird. Stop eating it and had gotten really sick. Had chills and vomiting all that evening. Needless to say, I had gotten food poisoning and will NEVER eat at this place again EVER! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful with this restaurant

This is in response to the recent response made by your restaurant about an hour ago; yes, it absolutely is possible to get sick after immediately eating food that might not be fresh. And although it is indeed flu and norovirus season, that is not why I was sick. I know what food poisoning feels like unfortunately and that is exactly what I had from eating your gyro that day, whether it’s “shaved off the spit” or not. And speaking of “shaved off the spit”, is that really the case? Because we customers cant really see if thats exactly true. And how long was that meat sitting, since you weren’t busy? Hm. Interesting. And just to be clear, it is indeed not EXTREMELY RARE to get sick that fast from anybody’s food. Yes, I am feeling alot better now, thank you. And no, being sick is never fun, and it wasn’t.

Visited Mr. Souvlaki with a friend for the first time yesterday. I didn’t even know this place was out here. The place was very clean. The owners were very nice and attentive.

I ordered a side greek salad with gyro meat and a gyro egg roll. The food was delicious. But that eggroll was the star of the show! Do yourself a favor and try it. You can thank me later. I took mine home and reheated it. It was just as crispy as when I ordered at lunch time.

My friend had the falafel gyro and she loved it.

And the flavored waters were great too.

Check them out. We didn’t take pics so you’ll just have to trust me on this…lol

My family was raving about how good everything was, from the decor and dining area to the food and the service. The food was amazing, and first time-long time for having Greek food on this level. The avgelemono soup is one of my favorites and the version they served up was authentic and homestyle to the max. The falafel, shrimp and chicken gyros were also ordered, and all were packed with flavor and freshness! I am looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu.

Me & my husband ate here for lunch. I got a chicken Souvlaki sandwich.. the chicken was a bit overdone and he got the gyro, which was good. We ordered a Galaktoboureko as well which was supposed to be a custard pie. It tasted just like a gritty rice pudding, no lemon flavor in the least. The layers were not flaky and it was very runny. Do not recommend ordering this, they do not know how to cook it at all.
It was very disappointing, even asked multiple times if it was rice pudding but told it did not cool right so it did not set right. It was ok if you thought of it as rice pudding, but double the price of what they charge for rice pudding.
Again see my comment – they do not know how to cook Galaktoboureko. Do not order this.
See picture of how it turned out. And other picture of how it should look when properly cooked.

NOT RECOMMENDED!! Don’t order your food from the Belair Road location through DoorDash!! I had DoorDash driver hands and who knows what else in my bag several months ago after ordering from here because they didn’t staple the bag thoroughly. They did it again today!

Today, I decided to try them again to see if they had made any changes after I complained to them and DoorDash about it. NO! They made absolutely no change and seem to care less that someone could go in your food during a delivery when I called and spoke to some lady about it (the Belair Rd location). They put a loose tie and thought it was too much work to staple the bag with multiple staples to make sure no one could get in it. I guess the driver probably ate my fries again like last time. But this time, I called the restaurant and DoorDash with the picture to show how loosely tied the bag was with its one stapled receipt. DoorDash refunded my money and told me they would contact the restaurant. We will see. I’m calling back to follow up and if nothing was done I’m contacting the corporate office. They should be more thoughtful about our food! I bet they wouldn’t like it food showed up to their door tampered with! All these restaurants care about is saving a dime. Staples just don’t cost that much, and if staff is too lazy to take an extra 20 seconds to staple the bag securely, then someone needs another job.

Now……let’s wait to read the excuses. I see from other posts they also don’t like to just apologize to a customer when it is CLEARLY a valid complaint! SMH. Look at the bag and compare it to bags you get stapled from other DoorDash deliveries. I don’t want even want an apology because they clearly don’t care. Never ordering from here again!

There are literally no words but WOAH!!!! I love Greek food – the freshness, the herbs, the tastes, the seasonings. This place is absolutely, 100% the best spot I’ve ever been to!!! The Greek special bowl was absolutely incredible- one of the best things I’ve eaten in a LONG time!! We tried the beef/lamb gyro meat and the bifteki. Everything was out of this world. Huge portions, amazing service. Just a 10/10 all around!!!

I’ve never been as obsessed with a restaurant as I am with Mr. Souvlaki. The food, atmosphere, owners, and staff check every box for what a great business should be. The menu has tons of options for different diets and allergies, and the portions are huge. My favorite is the Greek Bowl or Authentic Gyro Wrap.
The servers are always friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The family who owns the restaurant is often there greeting people, and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really shows. They even have a small section where you can buy Greek products like olive oil and honey. I’ve been going at least once a week since they opened, and it’s consistently great every time, even better most times. Definitely worth trying.

They are really fresh and well-made.
Especially chicken was very juicy and tender i love it.
And you definitely have to try these greek desert. The rice pudding was something like custard and it tasted like honey and lemon. It was amazing.
Highly recommend.

They catered an office lunch yesterday and the food was so good and then it was all gone. My favorite restaurant Greek salad! Shrimp and chicken skewers were outstanding. Will order again.
