We visited Mr. Shrimp two days ago, and it was hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.
As for the food — absolutely outstanding! Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The shrimp (of course!) was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. We especially loved the Fish and Chips, which was a true standout. You can tell they put real care into both the ingredients and the preparation.
Whether you’re a seafood lover or just in the mood for a quality meal with great service, Mr. Shrimp is definitely worth the visit. We’re already looking forward to going back soon!

The food and service was great. The only complaint I have is not about the restaurant but about Google that has their opening as 10am. We got there a little early and enjoyed the atmosphere. This was just lunch and the plates were plentiful!

I absolutely love this establishment! I have been coming here for years with family and friends and have never ever been disappointed! Their consistency with fresh sea food, friendly hard working staff, and amazing prices are honestly hard to find these days. But, Mr. Shrimp always pulls through! Their lunch special is probably the best thing happening right now, especially in this economy. My personal favorite is the salmon Caesar salad. A huge piece of fresh caught salmon served on a delicious and generous amount of Caesar salad for only $12! I always feel extremely satisfied after my meal and my wallet is never crying. They also have the nicest servers! Extremely friendly, helpful, and are always just on top of everything! It is always very clean and it never really has that gross fishy smell that other sea food restaurants have. Nothing but amazing things to say about Mr. shrimp!

Our kind of spot. It’s casual and low key, with good food. No pretense here. There were two couples. I really enjoy fish and chips. Simple dish that’s easy to compare. There was also a softshell crab sandwich, grilled salmon, and shrimp scampi. All was quite good, with friendly service. We enjoy visiting whenever we’re in Belmar.

Man what a great dinner. Seafood fra diavolo,linguini in clam sauce, roasted clams. Our party was in Heaven. The amount of seafood in the dishes was ridiculous in a good way of course. The fra diavolo was spicy enough to get you attention. The linguine was garlicky and had tons of diced clams. Great night . Will go again for sure. Well done by Mr. Shrimp

I had my baby shower in the private room and it was absolutely perfect. All the food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic! The room was perfect for my 50 guests and having private room with bathroom and no stairs to entry was fantastic for my older guests. Vince and his staff were so accommodating to my special requests. I would have every party here.
