Wow, what a nice surprise. We’ve been driving past this place for 10 months going back and forth to the YMCA. I kept saying ‘we need to try this place’
We did today.
It is super clean. I mean spotless. Lots of TLC. The staff are really nice. I think it is a family business which is great.
The food rocked. We have hit many Mexican restaurants in the area. 3 of them were a swing and a miss. A couple were decent.
This place was really great. I was craving burritos, so I got the California Burritos wrap. It was great and huge. I could only eat half and I was ready for a nap after half. The other half is tomorrow’s lunch.
I got a side of refried beans, very tasty.
My wife had the breaded Tilapia. That was good. They served French fries with it. I don’t go to Mexican restaurants for the French fries so we didn’t really eat them.
The chips and salsa were good.
I had wine. For house merlot, it was decent. Our bill was maybe $50, so the pricing is good.
I am shocked this place wasn’t busy but it is a Tuesday in the afternoon.
Anyway, great local place off of Wade Hampton Blvd. It is close to Target. The food was terrific. Next time we’re doing the Texas Fajitas. Another table ordered them and the smell was awesome.

Ate here with my family last Sunday and was really impressed with the service and quality of the food.
There were many others waiting to be seated but it only took about 15 minutes to get a table. The waiter was very friendly and brought us free chips and salsa while we waited for our order, which didn’t take long at all to get our food.
All the food was warm and tasted great. Mr. Salsa’s knows how to take care of their customers. I will be returning here many more times!

The food was good. The menu has a large selection of interesting dishes. All of it seems lacking in presentation. Thus the food turned out to be better than it appeared to be. Overall, not bad but I likely won’t return.

Food here is delicious, however, when you have an issue with your food or service, they seem to not care. I was seated and they seated several after me and served them before me. The last I opened the door from had ordered, eaten, and left before they got my drink order. I try explaining that to the manager, who was owners wife, and she went to having her employees seem to translate for her by speaking over me and not showing me to explain the issue that just to place. Besides all that they brought cold food and offered no discount for my experience. This was the only Mexican place I like in the upstate. What a shame. Came back next day to speak with owner and he basically told me to kick rocks and to not complain about cold food being delivered to a table? Hey health department, where are yall?

We love Mexican food and this place is really good! The atmosphere is great, very clean and food is very fresh. The only thing that could be better is the service of the waitress, other than that very good. The restaurant is inviting and prices aren’t bad for what you get. We will def be back.

Like the ambiance of the place and server are attentive and approachable, but I don’t like how they made their rice it looks dry and unattractive for me tasting the soy sauce in it .I don’t exactly what condement they used to it. But over all it’s all good
