Mr Pig Korean BBQ

I love the space: very modern, attractive, very clean! Paid lot right next door – on Sunday it was only $10. The ventilation was great and we didn’t smell like bbq after! The service was wonderful, but we went when it was pretty empty.

We got seasoned kalbee and it was very tender, but I thought a bit bland. I thought the dipping sesame oil and ssamjang were also bland.
The salad was delicious, and other items were good. Their menu had a good variety. Definitely worth going.

Mr Pig was better than I expected. The store was spacious and the quality of the grilled meat was excellent. The only minor drawback was that the egg liquid had a slightly fishy smell. If this store were located in Chinatown, I’m convinced its business would be much better. This shows the importance of a store’s location.

If I could give this place ten stars, I would our server jason was really hospitable. He had such a great sense of humor and his cooking was just phenomenal.

The way he cooked at bulgogi was nice, tender and cooked to perfection. In addition to that, the way he cooked the pork belly set me to heaven. It was crispy not oily and just overall beautiful.

He would be the sole reason to why i come back! Shout out to our server jason! His looks are a bonus, both my eyes and stomach are full.

This is definitely the best Korean bbq in center city. They have a really good bbq combo that you can get all the different meat. Service is the best with infinite side dish. Also they open quite late too!

It’s more delicious than what you eat in Korea, it’s so kind, and it tastes completely Korean, so everything was delicious. I recommend it. If it’s a combination of two, I’m very full. It’s a lot and it’s good!

I actually really liked that they cook for you! The food was amazing. I love the steamed egg and cheese corn you get in addition too. Ventilation was great. We did come on a weekday and had never been and I was hoping the person who served us would have given us more grace when we didn’t know how this place worked which kind of turned me off from coming back. There maybe were two other customers there when I visited. I am used to all you can eat so I don’t think it’s fare to compare the portions

One of the best BBQ in philly. Came from South Jersey just to find good restaurant here. Sauce is really good, and place pretty big, so I don’t smell like bbq after finished eating. Will be coming agaim next time

Got the the Beef Combo for 2. It was priced $92 and…well worth the price. It was several pounds of different types of beef cuts. Cane with rice, corn cheese, a bean sprout mix, and a half a dozen sauces/side pieces for flavor. Also got a Japche app, it was not needed . We ended the dinner with a Waffle Fish Ice Cream for desert, don’t worry it’s a Waffle Shaped like a fish and filled with ice cream. With Sodas, the app, the beef combo, and a 20% tip, the total came to $152. Again it was a TON of food.
