This place defines “hidden gem”! Aleigha was our server tonight and she provided attentive and down to earth service and recommended the Chicken Buns as an appetizer and they were so good! All the veggies were fresh, the tofu was good quality and the chicken was beautifully tender. The sodas we ordered were perfectly carbonated and fresh as well, which is so hard to find in Charleston. A plus is the decor! So cute, really loved it.
The spicy ramen is SPICY though! They don’t play! So if you looove mouth tingling spice, get this!!

Much better places in town.

Been here twice now over the last year, once for take out and once for dine in.

Both times were disappointing and what ramen place doesn’t even serve beer? The service was fine.

The first time it was either Shoyu or Miso ramen. I can’t remember which unfortunately but the broth was bland and nothing about the ramen was impressive.

This time I got pork buns and garlic tonkatsu. The bun itself was better than some I’ve had in town, but it outweighed the pork. Overall it was tasty but I’d like to see more pork to bun ratio.

The ramen I couldn’t finish. The broth had this odd metallic, charred, kind of gamey? taste. I’m guessing they cooked the garlic too long and my only guess is they didn’t blanche the bones long enough. It was very off putting. The chashu was pretty good and the egg had decent flavor but the bamboo shoots didn’t have much. The noodles had some good firmness and held up well.

I know there’s a Summerville location, but based on the experiences here I won’t be visiting.

The ramen is so amazing! We also got spring rolls and chicken dumplings that were incredible! The staff was incredible and the food came out quickly! We can’t wait to come back!

Best spicy Ramen I’ve ever had. Pork buns were delicious. Cucumber salad – BUSSIN. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you love ramen. Had the peach milk tea as well and it was SO GOOD.

My husband and I wanted to try something different, and we are so happy we did. The service was fantastic, always making sure our drinks were topped off, our waiter was super nice explaining their menu and offering suggestions. The food was delicious so flavorful and our waiter offered the got chili oil on the side for a little flavor kick. The atmosphere was comfortable it was nice and cool especially on a hot summer day, the restaurant was very clean and smelled of delicious food. The portions were very generous, and prices were reasonable, we couldn’t finish our meal and our waiter asked if we wanted to-go boxes with a to-go beverage. It was a great experience with excellent food. We will definitely be back.

Extremely unsatisfying. Looks the part, but the ramen definitely doesn’t deliver on taste. The broth came out lukewarm and had zero depth with no real umami or richness at all. I can’t disagree with other reviews calling it ‘dishwater’ or ‘cornstarch water’ that’s exactly the vibe.
The noodles were overcooked and tasted cheap, like something from a low-end greasy spoon Chinese spot. Overall, it felt way overpriced for the quality you get. For legit ramen in the area, Jinya Ramen Bar in Charleston and Hachiya Ramen in Mount Pleasant (both run by folks with real Japanese roots) are miles ahead their broths are deep, flavorful, and properly simmered.
This place is well below that standard. Also odd: no real kid-friendly options in a suburban spot where you’d expect families. Did not like the frozen shrimp, and the ramen has msg in it. I had a specific reaction to it and it’s undeniable.

The restaurant is super cute. The food is blah. There is little flavor even in the ramen it tasted watered down. The basket of fries (a handful) was $6 they were my favorite thing we ate. The octopus balls had a sliver of octopus. The fried chicken pieces were decent. The Katsu bowls are 90% rice. Everything was lacking in flavor. We asked for a fork 3 different times to 3 different people and did not get one. It was very disappointing experience.

Mr Pans is a great authentic Japanese ramen house! Indoor atmosphere is really neat with an open view of the kitchen. Wait staff is very friendly.

elias: atmosphere gets extra points for me since they played third eye blind, goo goo dolls, and all american rejects.
