I have been a big fan of Mr. Nam. My favourite dish is the crispy chicken with dry egg noodles.
They have just had a change of management.
They retain the original menu and add more exciting wok fried dishes which I think great for dinner.
Today, I had the beef brisket pho and mom the chicken pho. Both were very nice.
I’m looking forward to trying out their new dishes in the coming week.

Located next to Mascot Station, Mr. Nam makes a well balanced Pho that will warm the belly. Store isn’t big and things can be a bit tight as tables are quite close to each other; though that depends on the time you go of course.
We had the Wagyu Rare Beef Slice Pho (Broth is mildly salty), Crispy Chicken Pho and for drinks a Lychee Mint Crush (Very sweet which takes away the freshness of the mint) and Vietnamese Ice Coffee (Right combination of sweet and bitterness). The staff were flexible with changing the noodles if you wanted.
The only issue for us was the stickiness of the table and floor.

I think at the very least, the food in a restaurant should look pleasant. But this dish looked really disgusting to me—the bumps on top looked like lymph nodes or something else, though I’m not sure. In any case, as a restaurant, you should at least make the food look appealing. The table was sticky. The service, however, was quite good, nothing to complain about.

Friendly service and good food. I tried their premium wagyu beef pho (large). The serving size was good and the herbs were fresh, but the beef broth needed a bit more flavour.

Food was delicious and well balanced. Place was popular with persons dining in. Reasonably priced given the quality.

One of the best pho spots I’ve tried in Australia. The broth is rich, aromatic, and clearly simmered for hours. The beef was tender, the noodles had a great texture, and the portions were generous.
The place feels casual and authentic, and the staff were friendly and efficient. It’s the kind of comfort food you’d want to come back for on a cold day. Highly recommend if you’re craving a proper bowl of Vietnamese pho.

Mr. Nam is such a good spot for Vietnamese food. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, full of flavor. The pho is rich and comforting, and the Vermicelli dishes are so satisfying. The staff are friendly, and the vibe is relaxed — perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. Definitely one of a good local Vietnamese places in Sydney
