We probably have been eating here at least 2-3x a month for the past 3+ years, since around the time they opened and we ALWAYS enjoy everything… still lol. Our last visit went a bit better than most due to our awesome waiter, rich!!! Staff are always great here but It was very nice to meet him especially, deffff brings a fun spirit to the restaurant. BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT OF 2026 / WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THE YEAR.
We went to Mr. & Mrs. Crab after seeing a Facebook influencer advertising this restaurant and I have to say, the food was absolutely DIVINE! The quality was incredible, everything was fresh, flavorful and seasoned to perfection. We honestly couldn’t stop eating, it was that good! If it wasn’t for the terrible experience with the customer service, I would’ve given this place 6/5 stars without hesitation.
The restaurant itself is super cute, clean, and beautifully decorated. The ambience is great, the vibes are fun and it’s clear that a lot of effort went into creating a nice dining space. It’s definitely on the expensive side but the food is so amazing that it’s worth every penny.
Unfortunately, the customer service was the complete opposite of the food. When we arrived, the hostess was nowhere to be found. When she finally showed up, she wasn’t welcoming at all. Our waitress took forever to come to our table, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and when she did, she was rude and snappy.
The timing of everything was completely off: our food arrived before our cocktails and our appetizer came after the main course. We had to ask for our drinks because the waitress was too busy chatting with other employees. She never checked on us or made sure everything was okay. Thankfully, the table runner and another waitress were polite and friendly, which helped a little but overall it was one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve had in a long time.
Bottom line:
Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (if I could!)

I highly recommend Mr. & Mrs. Crab for the food and atmosphere but I really hope management works on improving their staff’s attitude and attention because the food truly deserves better service!

My friend’s daughter wanted seafood boil today for lunch. Of course I’m not going to say no to that! So we headed to Mr & Mrs. Crab.
I am obsessed with all the cute Mr & Mrs. Crab emblems everywhere. From the seating to the paper laid out on the tables, you see these cute crabs everywhere!
I was in the bathroom when drinks were initially started. Our server came back to grab my drink and to take orders. For lunch today I got the lunch boil with head off shrimp and I added a half pound of sausage. I asked for an unsweetened iced tea with extra lemons and some sweetner.
My drink came out while she was dropping off of plates and shell bucket. I didn’t receive any of my lemons and sweetner. She proceeded to hang out at the front with another co worker chatting it up. A little annoying since you just took my drink order.
Food was dropped off my a gentleman. Everything looked great opening the bag! My baby potatoes looked cute and little. The corn looked tasty. The shrimp and sausage were ready to get tore up.
I got the garlic butter seasoned mild for my boil. It was the right amount of heat! It was buttery, garlicky and spicy. My potatoes were soft and tasty. The corn was so sweet. The sausage was salty and buttery from the sauce. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and so good in the buttery sauce. I do wish that the shrimp were more consistent in size. Some were nice and juicy and some were so small. But overall, that boil was killer!!
It was a nice time having lunch here today. The only thing that would have made this experience 5 stars is if our server would have been more attentive. I finally had to flag her down for the lemon and sweetner. After she realized she messed up she was a little more attentive towards our table. But she should have been attentive from jump. I’m happy I got to add Mr & Mrs Crab to my food adventures while staying here in SLC.

Being from Virginia Beach, Virginia, I was very skeptical about seafood in Utah being that it’s landlocked! I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the crab legs and mussels. The sausage was some of the best I’ve had in a crab boil. I should have gotten extra spicy because the spicy wasn’t very spicy (new place you never know)! The waitress was very friendly and attentive although there was a bit of a crowd. I ordered a mango margarita and it was delicious. The music playing was perfect and the atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night! I was there alone on a FaceTime date with a friend back home! It was vibes enough for a good time but low key enough to hold a conversation and be able to hear. Will definitely be back and will try some other drinks and menu items as well!

Had read the recent reviews about the poor service so I just called and asked if they had that worked out and they said yes so I decided to go my advice is if ordering the catfish nuggets ask for them crispy because mine was so limp I could eat only two of the eight the boil was delicious with all the spices medium and a little bit spicy for my boyfriend but I loved it the corn was really amazing and the hush puppies with melted butter OMG the Cajun fries and Waffle sweet potato fries were delicious too and the service was not perfect still had to flag the stuff down a couple times but not bad at all I would recommend

Princess was great! My wife and I stopped i. Here a couple hours before closing, and he was constantly asking us if we needed anything or how we are doing. We stayed till pretty much closing and he was still asking if he can get us anything. 10/10 would recommend.

This was a great place for dinner! The staff is super friendly and was really helpful to our large party. The appetizers were really good, and the seafood boil was super good too! The seasoning was the perfect amount of spice for us (mild) and had a great range of flavors. Excited to come back!

My husband and I ate here because we wanted good seafood, we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and quick. The food was hot, flavorful and tender. Not our all time favorite seafood restaurant but on our top list. We’d go back again.

Good food and our host was amazing! First time eating this in this area and was really satisfied. I personally loved the crawfish and sausage best.
My only complaint is that the flavor was perfect but I was hoping for spicier. Our host helped us out great but no fault to them I wasn’t satisfied on my spice meter.

We called and were told there was no wait, we showed up to a 30m wait that turned into 40. The hush puppies were good, the fish and chips were tasty. The pork sausage was well seasoned and not too spicy. The portions were good. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Not having the little fork or other tools made the snow crab legs harder to deal with. Listing to Cardi B WAP and other club dance music seemed weird and made it hard for date night conversation.
