Unfortunately we did not like it. I don’t know if we got a bad batch or what but the menudo was not good. The meat just tasted off.. the broth was salty and could’ve used more chile. The hominy tasted exactly like the meat which was weird? The lemonade was super delicious, the service was great, the ladies were super friendly and the place is incredibly clean. We ate what we could stomach and we don’t like complaining so it was definitely a huge waste of money for us. $40 is $40. I think they charge extra for the pata in the menudo because our bowls were the same size but charged differently. Either way my husband didn’t even get the pata. Lol we just realized as I’m writing this review. Don’t let my review deter you from trying it out for yourself! El menu is big and again, the service is good.

Off the beaten path for sure but dont stray away, I have been to alot of places but this is some of the best monudo I have had and the chips and salsa is on point. They do offer more than just monudo full menu/full bar, Ill be back to try more. Service was very attentive and kind very texas authentic.

The unpaved road almost made us turn around, but I was so glad we didn’t. The barbacoa tacos, menudo, and birria were all absolutely delicious. Skip the chips and salsa and stick to the chicharrones, and prepare for yummy and authentic food. Food will take a bit longer to be ready, just know, it will all be worth it. Didn’t have more pictures because we were all very hungry and ate our food super fast.

I ordered the menudo, which is something I have never tried and made the journey to the restaurant specifically for. The location is unabashedly in an industrial zone, down a dirt road and seemingly out of place.
The waiter was helpful, probably sensing I wasn’t local and unfamiliar with authentic Mexican food. He patiently explained things which may have been unappealing to me (such as the pigs foot in the menudo) and asked if I wanted it in my soup. The concern in making sure the dining experience was pleasant was much appreciated.
The food was all really good, despite being far outside of what I was used to.

The Menudo here is good. If you not used it being spicy it get you. As it’s a spiced up version of menudo. Definitely recommend if you like menudo.

My first time coming here…I am very picky with menudo, I don’t like it from just anywhere and reading one bad review I was a bit skeptical but since it’s new years day and everything was closed I decided there’s more positive than negative and let me tell you I was not disappointed!! There was nothing raw about it like the other comment says and it doesn’t smell like some menudos do so that’s a huge plus. The pansas were soft & the taste was great. So I give it 5 plus stars

Wasn’t a bad experience food was good my husband did like his burrito I had the street tacos we did get there about an hour before close so portions seemed a little skimpy, waitress was great. Didn’t like that one of the other waitresses came and was sweeping dirt close to us otherwise this would have been 5 stars would definitely try again and go earlier that was on us

My favorite restaurant in Odessa by far. The huevos rancheros is epic. The Caldo de res is the best I’ve ever had. The staff is super friendly and so is the owner. This is a feel-good place, and worth the drive. I can honestly say I eat here at least 3-4 times a week. I was born and raised in New Orleans so I’m very picky when it comes to flavor, so it says a lot that I would choose this place over most places in my hometown. This is the diamond in the rough.
