Pho Chay – 0% pho taste, (absolutely not: roasted ginger & onion, star anise, cinnamon, cloves, mushrooms) 100% very good vegetable soup. However I drove 30 minutes to eat PHO, so I’m pretty disappointed… If you ran out of Chay stock, you could call me back, if you sell this as pho chay normally – it is really anything but pho… Please let me know, so I would know, if to order again.

Very tasty, not oily and fresh Vietnamese food. For Luxembourg standards very affordable/low prices. A small cart but what’s available is good! Friendly service, it’s not really like a restaurant but more the atmosphere of a snackbar but we didn’t find that disturbing.

Small establishment with few options on the menu but tastes better than other restaurants in that country.
Taste of pho is too subtle without additional sauces but the basic broth works for me who’s not felling too well that day. I miss the depth of the broth from the burnt herbs like the root of the coriander and also the toppings like thai basil, shallot or red chili that add another dimension. It’s too bland if I’m being honest, but it has a clean taste that saves the overall experience.
The rice vermicelli salad on the other hand was superb!
Price is comparable to other restaurants in that country but definitely pricier to the neighboring ones.
Service is straightforward.
Would definitely return when I pass through Luxembourg again!

We were visiting Luxemburg, and when we were searching for great places to eat dinner, “Mr Mai Vietnam Food” popped up.
So we decided to try it out, and like the previous reviews already stated ~ the food is phenomenal, authentic, and dangerously delicious
The couple who runs it are so sweet and she speaks 5 languages ❤️
If you are looking for amazing Vietnamese food at great prices – try them out!!!
Thank you for a delicious experience

I’m from the west coast of the United States (lots of good Asian restaurants), and this is the best Phở I’ve ever had. The bó bùn is also astounding. I don’t like ginger very much, but the beef in the bó bùn has the perfect level of ginger and an indescribable flavor profile, which adds a lot to the dish. The beef is also local! 🙂

Tiny place with decent prices for Luxembourg. I had a day menu dish called nouille sautee. Noodles with chicken. The portion was quite small but tasty.

Decent authentic Vietnamese food with so and so service in a place that is designed for takeaway/ delivery.
Overpriced food for the quality delivered, albeit understandable inflated prices due to the fact that it is in Luxemburg City.

Good little Vietnamese restaurant, the menu card is small, the main specialities are the traditional soup pho and the bo bun. They propose also the vegetarian version. It is not complete because it lacks of ingredients, probably due to Luxembourg location. The only negative point is the smell, quite normal, the room is very small and the kitchen is open. The staff and the owner are Vietnamese, so I recommend it.

Did not have high hopes for this place. Very limited menu item choices. I tried the Pho and was flabergasted to see that the service ersonnel heated up the broth in a microwave. The soup was saved by a home made sauce, but at this moment I was hungry to the point of eating anything. Did not enjoy it, had it to not sleep on an empty stomach
