I like this place very much. Everything we had was very good. It is a place you can come alone or with a crowd. Very friendly and excellent service. Nex time I will be a bit more adventerous with the food as I noticed some really good stuff others were having. Second time around, was even better 🙂

We stayed on Koh Samui for one week and ate here four times – I think that says it all. An absolute recommendation and for us the best restaurant on the island.

We tried several dishes from the menu, including Massaman curry, Panang curry, Tom Yum, papaya salad, fried papaya salad with prawns, corn salad, Pad Thai, deep fried seabass with garlic and deep fried seabass with Panang. Everything was incredibly delicious, authentically cooked and very fairly priced for Bophut.

My girlfriend is vegetarian and always found great veggie options on the menu as well.

The service was always very attentive and friendly, and we never had to wait for a table.

A big thank you to the whole team for the amazing food and service!

Recommendation: try the deep fried papaya salad! It’s addictive.

Delicious food! We are vegetarian so always look out for places with good vegetarian options and Mr Kai Kitchen certainly delivers! Pretty much all noodle and curry options on the menu have a tofu or vegetable option which amazing! I had a tofu massaman and my wife had a tofu red curry with yellow noodles and we had a tofu satay to start! The food was honestly so delicious and on top of that, presentation was excellent! The staff are also extremely lovely and attentive- highly recommend for great veggie options!

We chose Mr. Kai Kitchen for the last lunch of our holiday. It was recommended to us and always seemed busy, but unfortunately it was a disappointment.
We ordered two fresh fruit juices, cheese balls, and two typical Thai dishes. The food lacked flavor, with too much rice and very little protein. Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations, especially considering the recommendations and the popularity of the place.

Best Thai food in Koh Samui! We absolutely love this place. It is busy every night but we always find a table quickly. Very affordable and kind staff. Food can take 30-60 minutes when it is busy but it is worth the wait because it is delicious. Highly recommend the whole fried sea bass! Great outdoor seating with fans. We love this place and will definitely be returning!

Absolutely our favourite place near Fisherman’s Village. Highly recommend whole fried fish with tamarind sauce as well as prawn penang curry with brown rice! Such an amazing value for money and food comes super fast! Love love love and will go everyday when we are still here.

Not gonna lie. This aint your average 50-80 baht per plate but you will tell the difference jn that additional 20-30 baht per plate.

We had satee gai, som tam and kai jiao gai.
Some rice on the side.

More than plenty for the two of us and reasonable pricing at around 100 bat per item.
Including drinks 2 cokes and a fresh pineapple juice we walked out under 500 baht which i call an absolute win.

The papaya salad was one of the best i have had on the island this year!

Cant go wrong with this place!

I think Mr Kai Kitchen might be the best restaurant in Koh Samui. Everything was so delicious and beautifully prepared and don’t miss the pomelo salad, it’s worth the visit on its own. The service was warm and attentive, and I truly wish I could come back again.
