The decor and size inside is nice. They do have one semi private space if you have a group. Between the music and all the people it was a little loud in there and we had to speak up to hear everything we were trying to saying. They have a large looking outdoor area that we might try next time. There is also a play area next to the outdoor seating.
The food was good. My wife’s steak burrito was a good size and I will br having the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. My fish tacos were great. Three reasonable sized tilapia pieces and the slaw and dressing was all separate on the side along with a small salad, rice, and bowl of beans.
Staff and service was good and we plan to go back. I want to try the salmon tacos and the pork chops. Also fajitas of course.
The food was a huge 10/10 — incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The menu is huge, and every dish delivered amazing flavor and freshness. You can clearly taste the quality in every bite.
Service was excellent. The staff was warm, attentive, and made the experience smooth from start to finish. Our food arrived super fast, and the atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming.
Overall, a huge 5-star experience. Thank you, Mr. José, for an outstanding meal and exceptional service….Muchas gracias….Excelente Servicio..
I’m so happy to have a quality, authentic Mexican restaurant that is clean (brand new!) and beautiful inside, professional looking waitstaff and the food is really good! One of my simple first tests for a good Mexican restaurant is the chips. First impressions! Warm, dry (not greasy) crispy and the salsa and black bean dip are both great. You can also request a hotter version if you like. We started with a large guacamole, and you can certainly tell it is fresh. It’s a good size dish (4 people) and comes with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Delish! Next time we are going to get the Top Shelf guacamole made to order at our table. Just for fun!
Our first time there so we used our waiter’s recommendation of Pollo Chapin (with an avocado crème sauce) and fajitas. Other reviewers have said to come hungry… plates are large with an abundance of tasty, quality, fresh food. I was surprised at the size of my sides of sauteed vegetables, jasmine rice and a baby salad with fresh sliced avocados. Also comes with a side (bowl) of churro (I think) beans that were hot, tasty and were made with sausage chunks. I questioned my buddy (who is from Mexico) if jasmine rice like this was authentic Mexican. He said that generally in the north it is Spanish rice and coastal regions and southern Mexico is Jasmine rice. Arturo also gave his hearty seal of approval! I’m no expert, but he is! lol
My chicken breast was a little on the charred (on the edges) side of grilled, just so you know that this review is legit. But still good.
Waitstaff is professional, friendly & efficient. I used to be a waiter in school, so I’m very familiar with and observant of those details. He was competent and quick to recommend dishes and stopped by to ask about the food and a few other times to check on us (just the right amount!) and get refills. Also, key for me is that the manager also made the rounds to confirm that all was good. That’s a major plus for me to know that he is engaged and verifying all is good and helping out when needed.
Their menu says, “Serving Whitesboro with Love”. We are coming from the lake near Pottsboro and once word gets out, it will be “serving the greater Texoma are with love”. lol
Looking forward to working through their extensive menu with friends!
I ordered chicken fajita nachos and my husband got the chile relleno. The nachos were good but the guacamole had to much filler in it for my taste. It was filled with red onions and cilantro. I love guacamole but all I could taste was cilantro. My husband said the steak fajita meat in the chile relleno was good but there wasn’t anything special about the rest.
Overall, the atmosphere was great but the food was just average.
But 10 out 10 WILL GO AGAIN
Eric and Jessica were the BEST!
