I ordered the street tacos, one of each meat options minus cow head. They were all great. I personally loved the asada, pollo, and carnitas the best. I enjoyed the accompaniments which consisted of fresh radish, cucumber, carrots, and roasted Serrano peppers (YUM!!). I also loved their house made sauces for the tacos. The elote was also great, my picky toddler enjoyed it as well. Cheese dip was the best I’ve had in Brownsville. Overall i fed my family of 3 for under $25 and that is a win-win in my book! We will be making Tuesdays our Mr. Joel Taco night!

The food here is absolutely delicious, fast service and everyone was kind. I had chicken tacos with cilantro, onions and lime. I also had beef nachos, with sour cream, cheese, and guacamole the other night with a glass of Horchata to wash it all down. Best meal I’ve had in a minute.

I would like to begin by stating that the customer service was exceptional. They were very polite in taking the order and getting our food to us expeditiously my reasoning for one star on the food deals with the quality and taste. Our order was correct. The food was hot and fresh, but the quality was basic and the taste was very bland and lacked seasoning. The overall experience was great, but the food was not appealing to what we were looking for. This was our first time visiting next time if there’s a different experience, I’d be more than happy to change my review..

Service was great and the food came out fast. However, the quesabirria tacos were not flavorful and were definitely the most flavorless birria tacos I’ve ever had. The birria broth itself was thin in texture and light in color, also lacking flavor. The pineapple drink was merely sugar water with a splash of pineapple flavor. Hubby got the taco plate and was satisfied with them (he was also very hungry though). The meat in his tacos looked like they were seasoned well. The rice and beans lacked flavor. The restaurant was clean and prices were reasonable.

I got the Quesabirria. It was okay but had too much of a tangy flavor and not enough of the meat flavor. I also got the Street Corn. there was so much of the crema that once I mixed it up, it was practically swimming. I’ll go here again because I’ve seen a lot of good reviews and the service was good, but I definitely won’t be ordering this again. I wasn’t very impressed with the canned drinks, either. I was hopeful for free refills if I pay for a soft drink.

Zero stars if I could. Worst taco, if that’s what is was, I ever had. Basically, hot dog sauce on a cold corn tortilla. No spices, no cheese, no lettuce, or tomato. Disgusting! Never ever giving them another penny of my money.
