Mr. Hui’s makes us dinner at least once per week. We’ve tried most everything on the menu and everything is always perfect. And on top of the delicious food, Cindy and Mike are the absolute best! They’ve spoiled us with such great food and service, we are loyal for life

I am not from Florence and stopped by Mr Hui’s Peacock express for a late lunch. The parking lot only had one car and no one in the restaurant. There were three people who came and picked up orders.
I got General Tso’s chicken with fried rice with a spring roll and a side of cream cheese rangoons. The chicken had great taste and all the pieces were soft and tender. (Would definitely get it again) There was not a hard overcooked one. The fried rice was good. The spring roll had a different taste. The cream cheese rangoons were good. I would definitely go back and try their other dishes. The chicken was great. The service was good. They kept water filled and asked if there was anything they could get me. Would go back again.

My husband and I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. We are definitely regulars at Peacock Express. We’re there at least once a week and sometimes more. The food is always very good and fresh. It’s always nice and hot. Our adult kids and their families love it as well. The owners and their kids are wonderful. There is also a really sweet waitress named Dusty that we love. I always read other reviews. I read one that was posted a couple of days ago for this restaurant that was so ugly!!! I CANNOT for one second believe what this person was saying to be true. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but this person went out of their way to be mean. It truly sounded like this person was a pro at this. Basically just trying to get a free meal out of. But more than that, just being a BULLY. So if you’re reading reviews for this restaurant, please don’t let the BULLY review deter you from giving it a try. It’s the BEST!!!!

We love a restaurant where the entire family is involved, and this is certainly that. The service was wonderful and the food was terrific. This Chinese restaurant has a large menu with more unique items than most, plus all the standards you expect. The food came out very quickly, and it was all very reasonably priced.

Nonexistent customer service. Ordered at the counter. Handed the employee my card. Employee laid my card down on the counter oppose to placing it back in my hand. My order was to go. When he brought my food out, he almost dropped the bag as he was handing it to me. Not sure what the rush was, the place wasn’t full at all. There were only 2 tables.

I had the Taiwanese Pan Fried Noodles today (11-01-25) and it was delicious. The meat portions were great , vegetables were fresh, the food was scrumptious . I highly recommend dining here.

Around 7pm I had placed a order for a kids sesame chicken with lo mein and the girl who was taking my order thought i said with rice which i have no idea how she got that wrong but I was like it’s okay it’s not a big deal. So I arrived at Mr huis and I told them my order was wrong because I was supposed to get lo mein instead of rice with my chicken so I’m guessing the manager with her hair in pigtails brought my chicken into the kitchen and said she was going to remake it and so after she did that she handed it back to me but when me and my friend opened it in the car it was soggy and looked very old and my rice was still there and the lo mein was in a different container. So I went back inside to talk to them about it and the girl with the pigtails was arguing saying she did remake my chicken when it’s very clear she didn’t and I also didn’t understand what she was saying at all because it’s clear she knows NO english which in my opinion you shouldn’t even be working in america if you know no english. And so since it was a family business I’m guessing the husband came out and started saying the same thing how they did remake it but they didn’t? I just think this is horrible just horrible customer service especially since they are going to lie saying they did remake it when clearly they did not. So I would not recommend Mr huis to anybody they have rude workers and their food is just awful.
