Really good food, seen some mixed reviews so here is an updated one. Staff is extremely nice, and take their time to get your order right. I would add a picture of the food, but it’s already gone . Me and my Girlfriend share a the hibachi steak and it’s enough for both of us. Will come again, and do recommend.

This is the worst hibachi I have ever gotten in my life. How is it hibachi and it doesn’t automatically come with rice. But, tells you too to choose two side this is just beyond ridiculous. Anyone who is ordering hibachi would assume it comes with rice automatically. Am I wrong ?? So I am at work for the next 5 hour with just meat and flavorless egg rolls and shrimp tempura. I would highly recommend going else where for hibachi. I would honestly give zero stars if I could. Buyers beware

I got the chicken and shrimp hibachi, and the food was somewhat flavorless. They talked about it being teriyaki style, but it mainly just tastes like black pepper. They prepared the food pretty quickly, and the employee at the counter was friendly. Portion size was pretty adequate for the price, nothing crazy though.
I personally wouldn’t visit this restaurant again, as I’m sure there’s better options nearby.

I’m on a mission to try all the local food places around the GSU campus and Mr. Hibachi is the latest stop on my adventures.
The restaurant itself is a tightly set up space with bar style tables and chairs so there’s pretty much no chance to eat without having to sit near strangers. I saw another review say they immediately saw cockroaches when they opened the door but thankfully I didn’t see any pests on my visit.
The food itself was indeed hibachi style food with choices of chicken, beef, or shrimp for most of the entrées and a small selection of side dishes. I ordered the Steak Hibachi with a side of fried shrimp and it was pretty good. I instantly knew what I was eating was hibachi but there wasn’t any sort of unique flavouring. It was just steak and steamed rice. Not bad but not Earth shatteringly good either.
The staff are friendly though I think there might be a few communication issues here and there, I heard another person order something and they had to repeat it a few times because the cashier didn’t fully understand what they were saying.
Overall I’d give Mr. Hibachi a solid 8/10, I’d definitely come back if I wanted to eat something with rice on campus.
