Reviews
Sauce they didn’t give. They were badgering me on how I got the number to call in my food… I got
It from google. They almost refused to give me my food because I called the boss number (again it was the google number for them) . Just terrible service. I have been going to them since 2019. The service and food has gone down tremendously. Save your money, time, and taste buds. This place was once great but now disgusting
I personally wouldn’t visit this restaurant again, as I’m sure there’s better options nearby.
The restaurant itself is a tightly set up space with bar style tables and chairs so there’s pretty much no chance to eat without having to sit near strangers. I saw another review say they immediately saw cockroaches when they opened the door but thankfully I didn’t see any pests on my visit.
The food itself was indeed hibachi style food with choices of chicken, beef, or shrimp for most of the entrées and a small selection of side dishes. I ordered the Steak Hibachi with a side of fried shrimp and it was pretty good. I instantly knew what I was eating was hibachi but there wasn’t any sort of unique flavouring. It was just steak and steamed rice. Not bad but not Earth shatteringly good either.
The staff are friendly though I think there might be a few communication issues here and there, I heard another person order something and they had to repeat it a few times because the cashier didn’t fully understand what they were saying.
Overall I’d give Mr. Hibachi a solid 8/10, I’d definitely come back if I wanted to eat something with rice on campus.
