You only get the counter was helpful and answering of my questions, but I appreciated. But when they got our food home and extremely disappointed in portions, but very upset that my spinach Cota was soggy because they put it in the same area of a box as my olive leaves which made it it’s been very wet on the bottom, top Creast was flattened and Crust was also gummy. very disappointing because they even say on the menu have crispy flaky the crust is under coconut.

Big Coleslaw

I frequent this place quite a bit for lunch. It’s such a good deal. Getting a gyro and salad for like $12.50 and it is very filling. Way better option than fast food and tastes so much better. They are quick and have great customer service as well.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. Ordered the chicken lemon soup, needed more lemon, salt and pepper, and the moussaka platter, excellent! Happy to see a place that doesn’t use potatoes in the moussaka, just like my mom used to make it! Comes with 2 stuffed grape leaves also! Will be back for that!! Just a couple pieces of pita bread would have been nice it it!

The styrofoam had been burned through by the chicken and I didn’t notice until I had ate the food… there was also a hair on my salad. Yikes.

Mr. Gyro’s has been my go-to for Greek take-out for as long as I can remember. As the name implies, the gyro platter is great stuff. I also like to get a small Greek salad on the side. The dressing is excellent, and for a small salad it’s a lot of food. If you’re in the mood for dessert, they’ve got a whole case full of excellent pastries. I’ve literally never had anything I didn’t love. Though I tend to get carry out, I’ve dined in on occasion in the past and found it pleasant outside the lunch rush (though I miss the screens showing video of landscapes and small town scenes from Greece).

Great atmosphere the staff were friendly and quick to help. Ordered the gyro platter and side of rice. I wasn’t a fan of the rice, it tasted average with little flavor and the latter’s portions were weird. You only got 4 triangle pie es of pitas and a ton of meat. I took home half the meat because I ran out of pita!

Food is good, fresh and tasty. The Gyro Plate and the Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup is so good. Spanakopita no photo of the Gyro because I destroyed it!!! Wife is Greek and took her here since we are from San Diego and we have many Greek spots. She said it’s ok.

Wow I’m asked to tip at a restaurant where there is counter service. When does the madness stop??? Been eating here for forty years. Also the second time I’ve been in at night at 7 o’clock and no iced tea. I won’t stop coming here because the food is excellent but damn the counter service sucks … Also 17 dollars for a chicken plate and drink, you think some of that money would go to the workers. Also if you want a tip you better act better to your customer. And put your damn phone down and smile to the customer.
