Mr. G’s Pizza and Pub in Branson, Missouri was truly impressive. We ordered the Mr. G Special Chicago deep dish and it was delicious. While it wasn’t quite as thick as the deep dish I was expecting, the flavor more than made up for it and everything was very well done. We also ordered the spinach and artichoke Chicago deep dish, and it was absolutely amazing. I normally don’t like Alfredo-style pizzas at all, but I ordered this one to share with my mom since she does—and it ended up being the first one I’ve ever really liked.
On top of the great food, our waitress was absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and on top of everything the entire time. Highly recommend Mr. G’s if you’re in Branson and craving great pizza and excellent service!

WOW!! this place is great!! I was from Chicago land (unfortunately) and a pizza snob This is Chicago pizza..Thought I was going to look out the window and see snow! We did Mr G special with everything..The crust was perfect ,a little butter flavor nice and crispy.. thin but not thick , thick but not thin.. pressed up against the side of the pan..The sauce great flavor could taste the spices and just a little bit of chunk in it,l oved the sweet peppers on our pizza What an added touch! The salad was good too, that was the wife’s idea… I’m thinking I’m going back! Service was really good too!

Best Chicago style pizza I’ve had outside of Chicago and very affordable. Beer was ice cold with a frozen mug for every beer. Server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. 10/10 will be back. With so many sub par chain restaurants overcharging and under delivering it’s refreshing to have a great meal at an awesome local spot.

We go to Branson a couple times a month… Only to go here for the best Chicago style pizza I know of. Absolutely love it. Food & service consistently good.
Always order large pepperoni & Italian sausage so we can take enough home for a couple lunches.
If you don’t think you’re a fan of ‘Chicago Style’ you might rethink it for a moment. It truly means the ingredients are added ‘upside down’. That is cheese first, the toppings, then sauce. Perfect! The cheese separates the sauce from the dough thus it remains crispy. Their sauce has a great flavor and toppings are generous.

The pizza was delicious. I liked the crispy crust. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. We were there around 1:30 on a Friday and there was people dining and a few locals drinking at the bar, but was not crowded. Parking is very limited though.

One week later and I am still craving this pizza! We decided to go downtown in Branson to do some shopping before the concert. We said we would go wherever our inner foodie leads us. We all shouted at the sane time.” Let’s check out the pizza.” When you go in you get that dive bar feel. Locals perched at the bar. Something you find in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Jersey you get my drift…any who. None of us are big on meat so we got the veggie pizza and the coldest beer I’ve had on tap in years. Definitely still dreaming of the pizza! Go check it out. We dug into the pizza before I got a picture of the whole thing.

Small little pizzeria but the staff is great. Pizza even better! Best Chicago style pizza I’ve had after visiting several states. The parking is a bit difficult to find, but there’s plenty of shops and things in the area that you could visit on your stroll to Mr G’s. Very hospitable, food was hot and beyond expectations.

Disappointed by their interpretation of what Chicago deep dish pizza is. Odd looking and tasting crust, bland sauce and decent amount of mozzarella cheese. French fries were good. Coke products a plus. Our server, Reese, was very attentive and friendly. Very noisy — difficult to converse. Prices very reasonable.
