Had been wanting to try for months. Heard very mixed reviews from friends. Ordered an Italian beef and the gyros. Both were very underwhelming. The beef had a very distinct taste and not in a good way. The roll used on the beef was not traditional, added to the weirdly distinct taste. My guess is it’s a pre-packaged tub for the beef. The gyro also had a taste like it was all beef, no lamb. Tzatziki was watery. Unfortunately, won’t be returning.

Been looking forward to make another trip out here for so long ! The Italian beef are so delicious here! Just as i remembered ! The Fries literally perfection crispy outside fluffy inside! You can tell they were fried in fresh cooking oil haha! This visit literally made my day wish i didn’t live so far away haha! They’d definitely know me by name if I did good food is appreciated ppl work hard for their money when they spend it they want their moneys worth the servings were plenty and even shared an order of fries and left completely satisfied ! Always a great meal from Mr. G’s. I’ve been a customer for over 30 years and it’s consistent, fresh, fast, and delicious. Best gyros and tzatziki sauce in the area by far! They also sell homemade Greek desserts, feta, and olives. The restaurant is clean and inviting and the staff is always friendly. PS try the homemade soups – they are always great.

Great little hot dog stand / gyro spot. Appreciate the burgers too. We typically get fried mushrooms or cheese sticks because our kids love.

Greatest owners ever. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Without Mr. Gs Antioch wouldn’t be a thing ♂️ you can go in there and order $150 worth of food and you won’t wait any longer than 5-10 minutes. Talk about efficiency. 100 out of 5 stars EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!!!
