This place had one of the best gyros I have eaten any where. Partly due to them preparing your order fresh and hot- order from the counter. The gyro meat was delicious- arrived warm, juicy and tender. The sauce was amazing. An additional plus- the crinkle cut fries were perfect- well seasoned and hot. Can’t saw I’m an authority on Greek food, but I eat a lot of gyros and this one was one of the best. Additionally- friendly and fast staff.

Gyros tasted more like spam meat , nothing like what you’d expect from a Greek place. They also forgot to include fries in my order. The only good part was the tzatziki. Not worth the price

I use to come here all the time and spend 30$ min. Now I won’t be coming back because the workers don’t honor the advertisement on their door. I showed my UIC Student ID and the man at the register brushed me off and said “No, the boss told me not to”. When I showed him the flyer on the door he ripped it off. Mind you I have been coming here for over 5 years and never once asked for a discount. This was the first time and he ignored me and brushed me away. They raised their prices and charge an Operational Charge but won’t honor a 10% student discount they posted. Also the chicken gyros is so dry and the worst I’ve ever had.

There was something weird and rubbery in the chicken burger that I ordered, when I went up to the worker and asked his to make a new one they kept saying no and that it’s black pepper.obviously it’s not black proper. I don’t know why the worker would not make a new one, even one of the other customers was telling him and the worker still said no, sounds to me they care more about their pockets than the customers.

We were out late exploring Chicago and came back to our hotel and all the restaurants were closing at 10pm (Thursday). Walked a couple blocks and found this Greek restaurant open, the food was good and quick to come out after ordering. They pack the protein in HEAVY, the fries were unsalted but crispy so I can’t complain. I ordered #1 combo and some onion rings 11/10 ( couldn’t have been more perfect ) , everything was delicious. My gf got the #2 combo and said it was good also, restaurant was clean, well kept, and easy to order with 2 registers where they give you a number they call when the food is ready.

Very disappointed that they do not honor their advertisements posted on their own door! I come here often, even with the price raises. They wouldn’t give me 10% off with student ID but hand no problem charging me an extra .50 for nothing and $1 operational cost. Definitely not coming back and will try the one next door for the first time ever.

I came for an early dinner and it wasn’t too busy. The staff was super friendly and pointed me to the Gyro Burger. I figured I’d never had one before so I went for it.
It was an excellent combo. Fries were big enough to share. Lamb was juicy and tender. Burger was standard. Great unique combo. Pepsi products to boot!

Came here with some friends after enjoying the Shed Aquarium. Had the gyro, Vienna beef hot dog, and fries. Everything was sooooooo good, definitely going back again and again.

One of my favorite spots for years but unfortunately it’s not the same. Used to get a lot more meat on the gyro and used to hit different too…maybe the meat changed or something. I got my regular gyro and cheese fries. 7.4 I get it food prices are crazy but the quality doesn’t have to thou.

I went to this place grabbed a gyro meal for $16.85 wasn’t NOT worth it. Hardly NO sauce on the gyro, which doesn’t even taste like cucumber sauce, charged me for Xtra onions in which it wasn’t really any extra on there. The gyro was not very tasty. I’ve had much better gyros from other places with more meat and sauce a lot cheaper. They have really fell off. I definitely won’t be going there again ever for lunch or anything else. it’s a waste of money. Only got 1 star because they won’t allow zero.
