I get that Mr Gattis isn’t for everyone. A lot of adults wouldn’t go to one without kids or a birthday party for kids.
But there is something special about a Gattis pizzeria. I’ve never had pizza like it, the atmosphere is unique,and I’ve never had bad customer service at any location for the decades I’ve been a customer.
This location is pretty far off the main path. North East Houston or Channelview (whichever they prefer), and only 1 of 2 in the entirety of the city; the other one equally distant. From the outside, she ain’t much to look at. In a funky looking shopping center off an unsuspecting road, I’m surprised it’s been open as long as it has. Inside, though, it’s a Gattis. Clean, bustling, large televisions playing news on one and
Tom & Jerry on the other. Pizza buffet is stocked and the staff is always willing to make a custom order.
The price is right too. Around $10 bucks for as much salad and pizza you can handle. And when you’re done, work off the calories in the game room. All the games work and it’s well lit. Crazy that I actually have to mention that the games work.
Anyway, help me keep this Mr Gattis and all the locations open forever! It may not be for everyone but there are plenty of people that live it and I’ll bet even more of they only knew it existed.

We travel from Cypress/Tomball just to come get some Me Gatties! The area is not the best mainly because of the Very very bumpy and uneven “Uvalde Rd”. But all that set aside the buffet was Good and Pizza was served HOT like we like it! The Spaghetti & Meat Sauce another of our favorites!

All the pizzas were hot and fresh in the buffet they dessert pizzas were quite delicious The cinnamon was my favorite The salad was fresh in the dressings were nice and cool The staff was very friendly and not overly obnoxious about making sure we were cleaning our plates even near closing time. The restaurant was clean, the restrooms were clean all of the different sodas in the fountain worked, and there was ice flowing from the ice maker too. Everyone there dining and in the game room were all having a good time and it took me back to when I used to eat at Mr gatti’s more often in the late ’90s in the Midwest. A little bit pricier than I remembered but it is a buffet so the price is irrelevant as long as you make it worth the cost I had no problems eating the dollar amount that I felt I had paid for in pizza.

had a truly wonderful experience at Mr. Gatti’s Pizza Buffet on Uvalde Road, and I feel it’s important to recognize the outstanding people who made it so enjoyable.
From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Every team member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and clearly took pride in their work. I would especially like to recognize Nixia, Marcos, Jose Ramos, Norma, and Genesis. The care they showed in both service and food preparation was evident, and their kindness made the entire visit feel warm and inviting.
The food was sensational. The pizza, pasta, salad bar, and buffet options were all fresh, hot, and delicious. I even learned something new here, putting ranch dressing on pasta, which turned out to be surprisingly amazing. The restaurant itself is very well kept, and the prices are incredibly affordable, especially considering that drinks are included.
The game room is fantastic, with a great mix of classic favorites and newer games. It’s easy to see why this location is so family-friendly. Many children and families were enjoying both the food and the games, and the overall atmosphere was cheerful and welcoming. Even other customers we encountered were polite and friendly, which says a lot about the environment this team helps create.
I was dining with my 81-year-old mother, and we were both genuinely pleased with the experience. I also want to commend Marcos and Jose Ramos for their professionalism and calm presence when they stepped in to help de-escalate a misunderstanding between patrons. Their respectful and composed approach reflected excellent training and leadership, and it did not go unnoticed.
Thank you to the entire team at Mr. Gatti’s for maintaining such a clean, welcoming establishment, serving high-quality food, and treating guests with kindness and respect. This is a place that truly values both its customers and its staff, and it shows.

Great food for meat lovers and vegetarians alike! I showed friends pictures of the food and they thought a famous chef made it. Plenty of parking and lots of seating. All you can eat/drink and they serve beer. Great place if u wanna grab lunch or dinner [or just need to keep your kids entertained for a few hours] they have dozens of games and hundreds of prizes to win in the arcade. If you haven’t been here then your are truly missing out. Would recommend! And would definitely return.

This place was a child hood favorite of mine. Their pizza is one of a kind. I used to go to the Kingwood location back in the day. I found this location on Uvalde recently. I didn’t do the Buffet but instead ordered 2 pizzas. It still tasted the same as it did 25 years ago. One day I plan to come hit the buffet. I will be back .

We visited for our first time. The employees were nice, they greeted us when we walked in. We took our little one hoping this would be a place to bring him every now and then, but I’m sorry to say we were disappointed. The eggs for the salad were like elastic and chewy. They were old. Not edible at all. The noodles tasted old too. I gave my little one all that! He doesn’t eat pizza yet. Lucky I tasted his food before he had a second bite. I was worried about him getting sick from the food. All the pizza tastes the same. The pizza bread has no flavor. It was hard and nasty. The food is not edible unfortunately. We went to the game area and let our little one play. Then we left and had to go eat somewhere else. We were really hoping this would be our spot for future birthdays. Careful with the food here.
